I mean, that really can 't be helped. The book starts up pretty much catching up from book two, a clash with kings. I realize the season finale was a bloody war where almost the entire Lannister family could have been killed, but now the time is peace.

I don't want to ruin too much, but it gets really exciting in a few episodes, based on the number of chapters book one covered (Also, recall if you will about an episode from Season 1 when the small council meets with Robert. I'll post against when I remember the name).

Amazing show. I am a tad annoyed, and have already seen two inconsistencies with the book that might be a big deal. I realize shows can't do everything in the book, and they might add a few scenes, but this one annoyed me the most (it's not a horrible plot spinner, just an interesting one)

In the book, Barriston Selmy does not reveal him self to Daenarys until long after she purchases the Unsullied. He goes around under the moniker of Artsan Whitebeard for a long time, revealing himself after more plot with Daenarys is dealt with)
