Well I'm in the finals for MOCS1 and MOCS2 I wonder if any of you guys are good enough to join me

Obv. will be grinding for MOCS3 once it hits Weds not sure what build I want to play yet, I may just get a Bx Devotion deck ready or amp up a almost Boros Burn list.

QP are locked sadly, if they weren't I would love to be able to sell QP.

At least you did better then me, I slept in for my Constructed Championship while two other guys in the forum running my list went and and got 6-2 winning 15 boosters....

Was that Limited Championship or a qualifier?

Have you tried Celestial Flare and/or Ratchet Bomb? If your happy with beating Ux and Bx isn't is ok to accept that Rx is a bad MU?

I have about 700 Tickets lying around from my wins (I would have more if I sell my MOCS promos), I'm willing to spend 500 Tickets (I already have most Modern lands and some often used expensive cards) I got about 3/4 months till MOCS4 (so I have all the time in the world to get ready and learn how to play the build) what is the best modern deck which 500 tickets can buy?

You should grind for MOCS3 on the Jan 29 - Feb 26 the format is limited and the card is battleskull (alt art).

0 experience, my only Modern deck is BRw Burn and a half finish Delver list

That should more easy QP then all you have to do is beat prelims to get into the finals (heck farming the prelims for the alt art cards may have more value then the finals)

io2 isn't talking about mocs1 afaik, he is talking about the mocs 2013 championship, qualifiers for the last 2 seats are jan 22nd to jan 25th

How are you lot doing for MOCS2 Finals QP farming? We only got about 5 days left.

Darn, I was hoping too be the only person in MOCS1 Finals since I didn't spend my QP during MOCS1

That said 30 Tickets is a bit steep considering BNG is almost upon us, so I can't really see many events launching.

Yep, the MOCS2 prelim is Apr 16-18 and the finals 19 it kinda suck but the card is just wow... Alternative Art Tropical Island

If it makes you feel any better on 29 Jan, we start farming for MOCS3 which is Sealed Theros/Born of the Gods Sealed for Alternative Art Batterskull...

I forgot to mention MOCS1 is Alternative Art Natural Order (the non-Alt art is worth $38 right now online)... come to think of it, all 3 cards are worth over $30 so promo version should fetch $100+ in a few months

why is mocs 3 before mocs 2

Ask Wizard, I assume its because MOCS1+2 format was decided very late into the season - so they decided rather then cramming MOCS1-3 all in the same month they would just split it up a little.

I honestly have no idea how MOCS1 is going to fire when most people have already spent the QPs on MOCS1 Cube Sealed - I might just pop in and get 1st place by default . That said the QPs your farming for right now are going into MOCS2.

do qp's actually do something this season or is it just more cube? cuz i have 12 or so.

They brought back real MOCS so it worth it (those QP your farming is for sexy alt art Leg Land) MOCS1 + MOCS3 will be next month, MOCS2 + MOCS4 will be the month after.

MOCS1 and MOCS2 have been confirmed too be Standard.

I haven't played against GW yet, but how did GW sneak back into the meta game (its now rank No6) is Esper Aggro a good MU for them or something?
