I didn't see his decklist but below is what I came to after putting it together and play testing against the field. I haven't gave this a whirl in a competiton yet (FNM is in modern mode til next Friday) but I went the goldfish route main and sideboard to shore up issues. [deck]Creature (30) 2x Athr...

At my game day a Bw variant made it to second. It played the full grip of enchantment creatures and some super tech : Ethereal Armor . The card was crazy good when it stuck generally making it read +2/+2 first strike. I was thinking of expanding on it playing keening apparition and spirit of the lab...

@dpaine

I am actually talking about running both Denizen and Maurader. Denizen gives your early creature evasion support whereas Maurader sets up the final push. Just as an obvious example for why to run them, Sylvan Caryatid.

You can play crazy tech with me and run 3 Boros Reckoner in SB. I play an even split of U and W producers including all 3 U/W duals. 18 white sources is risky but I never anticipate playing reckoner before T4 (which runs the same line of verdict). It totally screws creature aggro and lends itself to...

A 4cc 5/5 flier is solid in my book, chances are that's what it will typically be. Even if your opponent has removal that shouldn't effect your decision to play this card, it should really only be based on how much you value the evasion.

But in this particular instance niether form of the creature is bad. If your oppennent gives you a 5/5 you know it will probably die but they still have to use a piece of removal. The non-tribute form speaks for itself. Vexing Devil didnt have two board prescence options (or fly), I honestly don't s...

If you do go the Exava route you could drop the Jesters for Chainwalkers. They run the same power and make for a better late game if you have Exava out.

Sounds like some are having difficulty in white based midrange matches. Glare of Heresy?
The meta would have to be packed with W/x aggro/midrange variants to to really make Glare worth it and even then our burn package suites that role fairly well.

The extra power isn't worth it; Voice is a 2-1 or turns apparent 2-1s into 1-1s.
That wasn't the logic of my suggesting fleecemane. Games will go past turn 5 and having an additional hexproof body late game would make for a better hedge especially in a deck with a lower creature count.

If your meta actually shifted to something like this there is tons of answers to enchantment heavy decks, either way it is pretty funny.

Have you considered Fleecemane over Voice? In a deck with a smaller creature ratio it might work out better as well as bring a better late game.
