If you are willing to contribute with an article and for some reason prefer to manage it yourself instead of posting the article in the forums and have it ported to the frontpage, this is the place where you can request an account to be created for you. Just post your email account here or shoot admin a pm if you prefer.

Automatic registration on the frontpage is by default disabled because most people won't need an account there, and because otherwise there are tens of spammers registering everyday and this is not worth the hassle.
