Boros, Beats, Battlestar Galactica

Are you on the FoS Facebook group? I posted a list there with that plan in mind.

Now that twin is banned, maybe a boros shell with restoration and kiki jiki has a real reason to exist. Also eldrazi displacer is a very powerful card that i would like to play, but it heavily conflicts with my inclination towards playing maindeck blood moons XD probably i should just drop moons so...

Seems okay in the more aggressive deck you were playing with. FWIW Reid Duke posted a Red Devotion deck with Avaricious Dragon. I commented on his article noting that I liked his deck but didn't like how the Dragon made the Twin matchup a lot worse, and liked his suggestion of maindeck Spellskite t...

Assuming you have access to 8, and your opponent is running the standard suite of 14 creatures, how many Searing effects do you want in the mirror? On the play / draw? (Leaving your Eidolons in, them taking theirs out?) With(out) Lightning Helix? Priority to Blaze or Blood? For Game 2 it feels safe ...

I have had good results playing Fallout as the red sweeper of choice. Another creature that you could play to dodge your own sweepers is Plated Geopede (and Steppe Lynx I guess). 5/5 First strike is big enough to tangle with basically all creatures in the format, but even as a 3/3 it's good with bur...

I played Grixis Delver a bit, and absolutely hated Thought Scour'ing my shocklands. This is definitely exacerbated with a three colour manabase. I actually think the removal is the real reason to splash black, not just for Tasigur.

I'd probably add one (or two) Engineered Explosives to that list. It's a good anti-Artifact/Enchantment option, especially for Grixis. You might wanna add the second Spellskite, I've been really impressed with its versatility. Vedalken Shackles is the obvious Sower replacement, it's probably better ...

I like him in blue matchups. If I get two -2's out of him I'm happy, that's usually enough gas. He gains you a fair bit of life too. I think he's probably better than any other CA engine you would want to run, but I could see cutting him for something else.

Cage doesn't do anything against Living End, creatures enter from Exile, not from the Graveyard. Does it do anything against Storm? If you've spent a card doing nothing, you've just given them time to get Ascension online. Orb doesn't stop Twin or Junk killing you, you have to kill them faster. Orb ...

I expect Rock decks of all flavors to start producing numbers, namely Junk since Rhino is so fucking powerful. Yeah exactly, this is the issue. I feel like RDW is better against Delver than Burn, no idea about the rest of the field. RDW probably gets splash hate at the moment.

Is there any reason to play RDW a la Heal at the moment? Burn is obviously decent, but I was just wondering what the best Eidolon of the Great Revel deck is. Mogg Fanatic seems very well positioned against the Delver meta. The most up to date Heal decklist I could find is here: http://magic.wizards....
