The entire staff made very serious mistakes, including Sene. I remember as well as you guys, I was there, and I was doing what I could.

But the tone that the gutter took this time - from understandably running out of patience with all the mistakes and persecution that was going on - it burned bridges that could have been used over the long-term to restore what was lost.

And those same Gutter members want to throw a tantrum and get everything "righted" when they acted like petulant children. Those bridges were burned. Aside from Az and G_R, I don't think any member of the Gutter could be perfectly objective and be willing to take the lumps that come with compromise. Tell me, would you be willing to put
your ass on the line to right this wrong, having seen how they react to "bad news"? This thread is a perfect example of what the staff will point to to counter anything said by your side as to why it's wrong.

Curse is a corporation. All that matters in that regard is the "bottom line". if you think they don't see the very real threat posed by some group of socially-inept neckbeards who get butthurt at the smallest perceived slight, I don't know what to tell you.

Blackhound: I mostly said that the team got threatened left and right as far as I know. I'm still not sure if it's by people posting here, etc, I'm really just clearing out the way, I'm really not kidding when I say that the sale is recent. But yeah, I saw pretty sketchy threats of doxing, I saw very sketchy rumors about Curse being thrown left and right saying that we're going to fire everyone, etc... Also had someone threaten to release tons of extremely compromising and confidential information about the whole thing and send it to ... MMO-Champion because apparently they would "love" a story like this. The guy pretended to have
awesome sources within Curse and didn't even know that MMO-Champion is something I run.

I'm mostly here to figure out what's happening, really, having a bunch of pissed users on their own forums doesn't really make sense and we can probably fix it, we'll just have to take it one step at a time and see what we can do.

I'm the one who said that I had sources inside Curse, and I still do. I did not, however, mention anything about MMO-Champion, because I am aware Curse owns MMOC. There are other sources who would have loved the story, though, that I write for. In fact, I told two of them to walkaway because I wasn't going to cause more drama over this unless it was warranted.

The staff has noticed that you tend to get rather aggressive and confrontational in your interactions with Teia, and that it seems to be on a personal level more than a professional level. You derail threads just to complain about Teia, and it's disruptive.

What we're seeing is something that amounts to a vendetta, and if it continues, you will no longer be a member of this community.

So what we'd like you to do is to contact an admin if you have a problem with Teia or another staff member, and explain your position. They'll listen. Do this instead of continuously criticizing Teia in various threads. It's more productive, less disruptive, and less offensive.

Let us consider, for a moment, that the following scenarios have required a shitstorm in order to be resolved. Keep in mind, I'm not saying "shitstorm" as in "Drama", but required threadnaughts in order to get any results.

1.) The Ria fiasco. I will point to this as one of the key defining points that led to the CI drama we are seeing to this day. Ria and the userbase had problems. Other staff had problems with Ria. People tried to - apparently - take care of this and point out the issues they had in private with other staff, and I'm assuming there was a lot of talk about it in the Mod Lounge. However, nothing was being done, so we have a regular user creating a thread about it, detailing the problems they and others have had with Ria.

2.) WCT rules. Another great moment in CI drama. Moderators come in and say, "We're changing the rules, go
fuck yourselves." Try to spin it any way you like, but that is the gist of it. When a lot of long-time members to the site came in and said, "Whoa wait a minute, why?", the response was an overwhelming, "Well, we had people come to us in confidence and say they didn't feel welcome." There was also the, "We're the mods, you aren't. If you have issues with it, take it up with the admins, but they have our back." Now, the appointment of Teia Rabishu to the staff ruffled feathers. I know that I was pretty much unwilling to go into WCT, especially after the bullshit infraction Teia gave me. But to tell the community our opinion doesn't matter because we are either a "vocal minority" or because we are a differing opinion? Really? The only reason anyone took notice was because people who normally didn't give two shits about CI drama started posting in there. It was then that the staff really took a look at it, because there was no hiding it. And even then
the staff pretty much said, "If you have no solutions, shut up." The problem was, we had solutions. They were ignored to begin with.

3.) The gutter and bannings. I'm going to come right out and say this: this was your moment, as staff, to shine. You had an opportunity to come in and say, "We need to talk about something." You had the ability to give us the facts, and instead you lied to us. ExpiredRascals lied to us, and you all supported him. You even came out in a response and said, "Yeah, the OP was a lie", Nai. I think this is just the period where everyone who feels insulted and slighted by Sally gets to vent. It's not that the forums aren't legitimate, it's right now the userbase is people from Sally who have been forced to accept that the staff are incompetent and don't care about us.
