Rimescale's not bad, but I generally dislike tapping stuff down in EDH. You can't hit everything, and the thing you ultimately do tap down may well have been heading towards someone else. That's why I try for rattlesnakes more than these active mana sinks. Especially in Ashling, where that 4 mana you have left open for responses always has a use EOT anyway.
