The names are generic, nothing ties them to Theros. Compare with the lands from Scars of Mirrodin, which don't have generic names.

Scry is evergreen now, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them reprinted. I'm keeping mine, but I'm too lazy to sell them anyway.

Yeah, it's only me. But what else can you use to describe that car with drums and a guy hanging from ropes in front of a wall of loudspeakers, playing a guitar/flamethrower? It's insane, yet makes totally sense within the constraints of the movie.

It is, a lot. I've recently watched the old ones before this new one arrived. First one (first time I saw it) is really overrated, in my opinion, total snoozefest. The second one I've seen many times, and it still holds up for what it is: a low budget B action movie. The third one is ok, but felt like it wants to be two different movies at once. It was my first time watching that one as well

This new one is comparable to the second one (Road Warrior), but at the same time a completely different animal, and turned up to eleven. It's not really a remake nor a sequel, but a really well made reboot, kinda.

Yes, it has over the top, bat-shit crazy stuff, but it's way better over the top, bat-shit crazy stuff than anything Bay would make. Just go see it.
