If you want greener peas, add some baking soda to the water you use for washing them.Mafia is 20% ability usage and 80% voting & scum-hunting.Jeez.What is with people not answering direct questions in this game? Are you a lover and nothing else?
I'm Town Bulletproof Lover, I've took my role from Alien Bulletproof Lover, and I've tried my best to breadcrumb my role while acting like I was up for something hoping to bait nightkills.
The thing is that this whole mess with no nightkills made me wonder about the fact that we could either be facing no scum at all, some unlucky fellow that had both his nightkills stopped by someone or God* knows what else - Aliens are quite unlikely because I remember that somebody else has discarded an Alien card and those are not many.
I claimed being town HOPING to have the eventual nightkill targeted at me but I'm actually tired of this, so have fun with your game because now I've REALLY ended my potential usefulness.
Go ahead and lynch me if you want, I'm outta this.
PS: I'll keep my vote on rcw because I feel like he's not town. Azrael's ideas on WitchHunt make actual sense. I'm glad Azrael is an Innocent Child because that restricts the possible scum pool.

Should I claim HARDER?Fuck this game. We should mass claim. There's basically no downside and we're in sore need of some more concrete information since no one apparently wants to just start lynching people. WitchHunt, you go first, followed by RedNihilist, followed by Azrael. That should be everyone.
Dechs, there's logic to my list, but you can rearrage it if that makes people more comfortable.

... because my death, or the claimer's, would uncover the truth. I think that's pretty easy o_o;;This is an extremely valid question.Am I the only one who finds this sketchy? How would he bait a false claim if he has no idea who is or isn't a lover.Yup, at this point of the game I'm just worse than a Town Vanilla, so I decided to claim my loverness in order to try to bait fake claims from people that wanted to avoid being lynched.
Red, you said you didn't get any information from the Mod that you're the only Lover. How would you know that a claim is a false claim?

How convenient. His options were Mafia, Werewolf, or Saulus. From his claim, he went with the most town option he had available.Said the guy who claimed SaulusSince all Lovers die at the same time they'd want to get known so town doesn't vote one lover and potentially lose 2 players. Dangerous though since it's a role (alignment unknown) and a targeted kill after the claim can wreak havoc. I'm also not sure why anybody would choose it, unless it's attached to Cop from the Town Cop/Lover card.
Or that other guy, whatevs.
Aliens come with a NK over the whole game, who's the idiot who chooses to be an Alien given other options? You, however, appear to have chosen "Lover" over "Conspiracy Theorist" at the very least. They are both downsides, but one at least comes with a possibly useful ability. Were you that averse to being tentacled?
(I hereby apologize to any Alien player in this game, of course)
Just for the sake of random claiming, I've discarded Town Conspiracy Theorist while using Town Private Investigator for my alignment, because I also felt that there was no way that role could have useful either (that's the reason why I've found Stardust's claim that funny).
You're delving into the issue too much. Now, there are three options for cards that do cool stuff but happen to come with Lover attached. Cop/Lover out of that is already claimed. Did you choose one of these two?
I've tried the Lover route because I felt it could make the game more interesting letting me come up with some shenanigans with myself dying and counterclaiming people and that's that.
I know that means we're open to be 2-for-1ed, but at this point of the game it seems pretty clear that there is no NK available to our opponents

I'm saying that I'm a Lover, that's thatAre you implying that you did choose just Lover as an ability? I assumed you had picked the Lover... Roleblocker? Is that right? Anyway, there was one Lover/ability card other than the Lover/Cop. If you are claiming to have taken just a lover, I do find that suspicious.
Azrael, are you saying you have a daykill? Obviously I have no problem with you shooting rcw, though I'm surprised that you'd decide to go for that.

Except that people claimed most of the cards already (they're numbered), so it would be a risky claim, but some scum could have tried to jump on the Lover train in order to deter other people from voting them.I posted my thoughts on why you did it, even an opposing faction scum JoAT could've gotten some town cred, it didn't necessarily have to be lyncher.

I've got no time to do a PBPA because I'm leaving for a tournament today, but reread rcw's behaviour today: his early vote on himself is really a (still soft) scum tell because he wants to prove he doesn't mind dying, but this feat disappeared now.I'm not hanging RCW. It doesn't feel right and after Lego I'm trusting my gut when it tells me not to lynch someone.
He's at L-1, you can do it without me if you really want.
I'm sorry to have failed following up with my thoughts on the situation (I just forgot to do so) but the truth is that I just felt uneasy on rollin' down on the no-discussion-let's-just-lynch-people train that we were following, and I'm actually happy we managed to came up with some discussion before going on with the day.
Still, I feel like rcw is acting sleazy and he's the one I'd prefer to have lynched.

I've pointed out that, as soon as A LITTLE pressure as been put on him, he needed to find a random target in order to prove his being active.Throws mud, makes someone else do the work.I also guess that you're acting like this on your own, it's not like you suddenly felt the need to show how active you are, right? It's day 4 and I've got no pro-town evidence on you. Everybody else has got *some* reason not to lynch them today.Yeah, this is actually interesting.
Are you trying to move the aim towards me just for the sake of it or do you just like to lynch your null reads?
Stardust's defense is based on his love of being town plus the cards he discarded.
Witch Hunt I could see lynching, but he actually talks enough for me to get a better read on him potentially.
Imopen is reading town. I'm not sure I like his role-claim, and it might be a false positive, but it's not something I want to pursue.
Dechs is reading hard town.
RCW is reading Saulus.
Process of elimination.
Tell me more of this Saulus read you've got on RCW.
"Yeah, I've got nothing on you, but since I've got to vote someone and I wouldn't vote the other people here but I can't not vote anyone because OHMYGOD STARDUST IS ON ME I think I'll just vote you".
Sentence 2: I'd REALLY like to hear how somebody can have a "Saulus read" on someone else.

You're right, but I actually wanted to bait some false claim.Say there is an Alien faction with one NK, or a faction that has a NK that hasn't been using it, wouldn't claiming be the absolute worse thing the lovers could ever possibly do?Now I think that it would be a good time to claim being Lover.
Just for the sake of it.
Is anybody else in love with me?
I'm 100% sure that, provided there's any other Lover out there, he wouldn't claim at this point of the game.

I'm posting this just because I'm starting to be annoyed by all this doubts that are building towards my person.
I'm dubious between lynching raspy, lynching Stardust and trying something else.
I'm not convinged by raspy as I feel like his self votes are just stunts to gain town cred that should just not work given the fact that he proved to care a bit too much on being given a "fair treatment" (see post 549), but facts tell us that he's either a switched-to-town player or a castrated threat, so the priority of lynching him is probably not at the top.
Lynching Stardust is another low-priority move, as I feel like switching to cult in this game is pretty much suicidial at this point and I seriously hope nobody has been suicidial enough to switch to cult early game.
It's just that I don't feel like lynching either WitchHunt, DK or Imopen.

I hope I doesn't end up sounding too confused but it's 8.30 AM here but my hangover is preventing me from sleeping, so I guess I'll try to explain my ideas.
Alive:
Azrael
Dechs Kaison
imopen2
rcwraspy
Rednihilist
Stardust
Witchhunt
We know that at least 4 of these 7 players started the game as town. We know that the remaining menaces to town have surrendered or they're just having problems with their nightkill.
Since nobody has claimed being a doctor (or he is VERY effective at what he's doing if there's one), my take is that we could be facing no more mafia - werewolves - serial killers but some other kind of threat.
That brings us to:
- lyncher -> I guess a lyncher would not be counted in the required 50%+ town block at the beginning of the game and considered a threat to town when doing the end game check; at this point of the game I'm tempted of asking lynchers to claim and support their objective just for the sake of speeding up things (this game is boring me), but I don't really think anybody here has shown a "lyncher pattern" so far so I don't really think this is a viable way;
- aliens! -> aliens have just 1 nightkill over the entire game, so if I was one I guess i'll treasure it for critical moments rather than just fire it when there are too many players around; yet, alien cards are not many (7) and we know for sure that somebody has taken card 106 (Alien Silencer) for the ability;
-> cult -> this could become an issue, as card 118 is real and we've having a confirmed Black Goo in the game.
@ Rezmo: is Town Black Goo considered to be a threat to town?
@ Stardust: can you please explain me again why you've chosen to take Black Goo?

Yesterday I felt like he wasn't town based on a couple of guts tell, like his lean on ham (like he did in a previous game, I don't remember which one) and his bad reactions to pressure.hammy, what do you think of rcw?
Red, same question.
Looks like he decided to go for one of the four 1-shot unlynchable powers (Town 1-shot Unlynchable, Alien 1-shot Unlynchable, Judas and Saulus if I'm not mistaken) and claimed the last one.
I don't believe the claim, though.
The very idea of choosing Ninja over Reflexive Doctor is questionable, it even does exactly NOTHING for Saulus.
I also don't get why he should have be that upset about being lynched as Saulus, I just think he went for that claim in order to "soft claim" town, but I don't feel like believing him.
I don't think his lynch should be a priority, though, as he's probably Vanilla by now (I'm not sure about Judas' ruling...), but the same stands for Jamie.

Vote rcwraspy
You're not even trying to pass as town anymore, you're just asking the odds of you being dealt three town cards.
That makes no sense.
I knew that somebody having three town cards was actually likely, but if I remember correctly nobody used the argument 'till now.
I also agree with the fact that discarding a town card doesn't make you more likely to be scum than discarding something else, yet I felt like it was a good place to start.
---
I'm ill, so I'll probably won't be able to keep up with the thread the next few days, be patient with me

Technically speaking when I started this mess (by being one of the guys that discarded a town card) I just wanted to force people into talking. That's the mistake we made when we singled out the four guys that discarded Town cards. You really can't learn much from those choices. One dude could have been dealt three town cards and of course he'd have to discard one. Another guy could have been dealt three scum cards and for some reason, we were showing that less scrutiny.
