everyone i was hanging out with was so not on drugs saturday night that they passed out at 2 am and i was up until 5:30 using my single-mindedness to throw hundreds for 4+ IV riolu into wonder trade.

i repeated this two more times over the weekend with another hundred or so riolu and two boxes of gale wing fletchling.

i have 14 5-perfect riolu for trade and 3-4 5-perfect gale wing fletchling, as well as one 6-perfect one. i have still not matsuda bred a shiny but that will not impede me.

Jesus if you are so star shrudded that you are throwing away perfectly good mons, just send me me some IV goodness instead of wonder trading, I haven't got time for that shit.

If people cannot reach an agreement I'd have the mods put up a poll for vote I guess, but whatever rocks your boat.

How about you guys stop referring to the MTGS rules and...I don't know...actually make your own?

This would pretty much solve any future issues regarding these things. I understand the whole laissez-faire thing that we have going on over here, but considering Mafia is a different beast in and of itself and is subject to so many discrepancies due to different meta it'd be nice if we could at least write up a short list of General rules.

You could even throw in the state-legislation-esque "Mod has the final rules say"
thing in there for all I care. It's just starting to irk me that we can't seem to find a common ground when easily 3/4 of the playerbase is from MTGS and I'm not.

Maybe you could take the elusive Manders and kpaca of the marquee and just make Yanni a mod down there with me for some balance.

I always assumed our modus operandi would be to get everyone into a huge forum brawl and throw insults and condescension all around until a consensus was reached out of exaustion, just look at how the FoS trade forum became a huge hit on the site.

One my happyest days was when I was at one of these boring social events where I knew noone, and suddenly some bunch of alpha males started speaking about space exploration and the colonization of Mars and I just stood there, biding my time in the shadows, listening to their inanities for like 20minutes or so until I just dropped "these are some of the stupidest ideas I heard in my whole life", then when inevitably someone asked "who the fuck you think you are?" I just answered "I'm a rocket scientist" and I started writing differential equations in a table napkin just to show them how stupid they were and why you should never talk about shit you know nothing about.

Then since I know alpha males loathe admitting they are wrong, I just threw "You are free to disprove my reasoning, here take the napkin", until someone said "I'm gonna check if there is some wine left" and
people immediately abandoned boat and I stood there all alone in the table. I had just made sure noone would stand near me for the rest of the evening, my job was done.

Then my babe, who was elsewhere, came by and asked "hey why are you sitting there all alone?" and I just answered "I dunno, I think your friends don't like me for whatever reason, 'ts okay though, I don't mind being alone".

You really have to be desperate when you feel the need to pull a "cards per post" graph for trying to justify your actions.

Since you know... as a sandwich artist and aspiring engineer you know you can make any graph to sustain any point of view. Hence why the graph of the bannings per year wasn't put forward. It would display an uglier picture (as I told in that thread before my post was deleted and the gimmick account banned without even being reported in the banned thread, because y'a know, it would make the numbers look even worse...

I think Clans took a beating too, and not mentioning FoS only, there was the
Soundtrack, the NYC who moved to facebook because they didn't felt welcome anymore, and the Called, the personal staff clan where they keep it on life support without even enforcing clan rules wherein The Called should have been retired months ago (3 "active" members, thread can go for weeks without any single post).

2011: Wopalong has been neutered and extremeicon ragequit. Part of the loveable rogues are invited to join the empire and idealistically start working towards reforms within the system. Through a coordinated campaign of verbal warnings and private PM's sent to the offenders, the loveable rogues manage to cull the dramatic increase of 2009->2010 cards per post, even going as far as diminishing a little bit. Unbeknownst to them ria and the lapdogs have been slowly climbing along the corporate ladder and sapping the good work put forward by the loveable rogues. By the end of the year they are history.

2012: The final solution is engineered and put
into execution. A campaign of mass infractions leading to mass bannings is started. cpp ratio is at an all out high.

2013: Most of the people have been banned and the remaining ones are cowering in fear under a truly heinous Orwellian regime. People now self-police themselves and every neighbor can be a snitch. When people stifle themselves, there is no longer the need for visible punishments and the regime propaganda machine can start spreading excel worksheets over the neighboring nations representing the alliance for individual freedoms.
