True or false: Justice is more important than freedom.

For me the worse thing is browsing on mobile. More often than not (switching threads, subforums) the site is so slow that it even times out. Browsing is a pain under such conditions. When can we expect some improvements?

I would, but I'm secretly hoping this forum will die in the next year or so. That and typing's hard when you're shaking with this much rage.

This thread is treading into negative territory. Criticism of the site is fine as long as the aim is to improve the site, not a grounds to attack the site because you dislike how it has changed or dislike the site in general. Accusations of the staff mishandling situations are taken very seriously and investigated. No it was not. A few folks got on here to voice a controlled opinion and gave helpful advice that would have been otherwise rat holed in the help desk and email for no one to see or care. No one was bashing anyone with names or flame. Many have voiced distaste for the new website, but have offered helpful advice with those critiques. Throwing up a wall of red shuts down discussion like an overbearing parent scolding a child. Now no one is going to continue the discussion any more cause you proved a point we wanted to avoid. How sad. We have come to realize that pointing fingers or throwing accusations gets no where with the mods and just causes a rift. Someone asked what has caused the decreased use this forum and critical answers where given with positive ideas to solve it. I am showing this post to a few friends at a shop right now and we are laughing and at the same time shaking
our heads at this response. Asking us to keep all opinions in the areas the mods want has already been described in my earlier post. Others here and I want this forum to succeed and grow, but reasons already described can't be justified in an accusatory email to solve the problem. It takes the community to grasp the need and want to solve the problems listed. So I ask the mod who posted this; was this post needed? The constant need to post this material when real discussion gets underway leaves viewers perplexed whether this discussion is not tolerated or a something wrong has occurred and the future posts must be MtGS correct.

On to other ideas to get support here, how about an app to boost people coming here? It is directly linked to an opinion pole on high value cards. When you check a card in the app, it gives a percentage chance of a reprint, chance of going up or down in value in a certain amount of time, and whether it is a pick up during rotation. The percentages come from user here voting on
the cards. The results are the average of votes. The app could sell for a $1 and requires people coming here to vote. Users would consider the patrons opinion on the cards and their other sources such as tcg player or SCG. Players would have access to real sales prices and opinion of what that price should be. Thus it would raise user ship of this site. If we are in the summer doldrums; then we should be in planting season for new ideas to keep this site evolving with the game needs. A side benefit is noted with folks being able to voice their opinion on a price with a vote rather than argue it and risk an infraction. It is a massive undertaking, but money can be made with it for this site. Please use my idea without impunity. What helps mtg, helps me.
