It will probably not lose much because Standard makes up roughly 5% of the play the card receives. You'd be fighting everyone else who knows this buying up "discounted" snapcasters from people trying to dump their excess standard stock. The fact that it's risen from a low of $13 to $23 despite seeing less and less play in Standard, ala Liliana, is telling.

You can use a new website called Google.com to search for cards and compare prices. There are other websites that you may have seen other people talking about like eBay, an online auction page, and TCGPlayer, a website specializing in reselling trading card game singles to players of said games, that contain listings of cards whose values you can compare with other retailers, such as brick and mortar stores.
