From friend who works at Blizzard: Fried two of my RAM sticks. Had to do a full mobo driver wipe and reinstall, had to repair the BIOS.

the thought of lines of mtgs code being eaten by pacman is a funny mental analogy for this situation my mind has devised.

it's unfortunate that MTGS is being attacked and its caretakers have no backend access to attempt to stymie it.

if this were a movie or tv show, i would follow up that story by saying "have you ever heard of" and then fart loudly, but since this isn't that, i'm doing the same while typing.

So someone had the ability to gain backend access and put script into the background of the forum that *does something malicious* ? Do I have that right?

Hannes isn't "absent" from the site. Right now, he's going through some real-life transitions I am, quite literally, NOT at liberty to divulge other than what is going on for him takes far more precedence over a site dedicated to Magic: the Gathering.

Do you not know what "absent" means?
