Zhao was the leader of the X-Men during the late 21st centuries Corporate Wars, in a time when large organizations and corporations fought for ruler ship over the United States. Desperation and waning powers spurred him on to create a psycho-active amplifier that increased his strength but taxed his mind, he became so mentally bent he destroyed his own team of the X-Men out of an act of extreme paranoia, believing they were plotting against him. After this he became a hermit.

I think only Doom and Spiderman are real characters from that offshoot anymore. Didn't their whole universe collapse in on itself though? Like there was a massive upheaval and alchemical and most of the supers got wiped completely from existence and current cameos from 2099 characters would have to be from an alternate timeline or something?

punisher 2099 was a cop who's family where Thorites (GEE GUESS) who were murdered by the head of alchemix's son and was let go because lolmoney. he found the original punisher's journal which ended as 'who ever finds this take up my cause' and he used a bat that could go from foam to the hardest sounding science fiction material and he hardly uses it below 'wood'

source: i have most of the issue 1's. including RAVAGE
I have all of the issue ones including the hulk 2099 one

Ghost Rider 2099 is a Cybertek 101 robot. The reinforced carbon-steel silicon composite robotic body gave Ghost Rider superhuman strength, endurance and durability. Both hands were capable of transforming, the right hand into a ceramic graphite composite bladed chainsaw that blasted bursts of energy; and the left hand in to a polymimetic nanomer alloy claw, able to cut on a submolecular level. The robot also possessed a stealth system rendering Ghost Rider invisible to detection by both electronic systems and the naked eye; in addition, it possesses a "solidgram" camouflage system that could allow him to mimic the appearance of any individual (including Zero Cochrane), and create the illusion of his head being engulfed in flames. The robot also had optic lasers, and was capable of self-repairing.

The series is set in the year 2099, in a dystopian possible future of the Marvel Universe, and features Kenshiro "Zero" Cochrane, a hacker who was killed but resurrected as the Ghost Rider — his mind controlling a powerful and well-armed robot. As with most of the Marvel 2099 titles, the protagonist was a futuristic version of a commercially successful Marvel Universe character. The series was heavily influenced by cyberpunk science fiction.

All of the 2099 series were awesome and also completely insane. Iirc, ghost rider was a guy who died and turned into a computer program and surfed the Internet as a ghost and inhabited a robot ghost rider body with chainsaw hands

The cat legend is good he's just 0 value if he doesn't get to enter combat, but is the best "more of the same" card for W aggro I would wager. Like a 3cc Precinct Captain that doesn't even need to connect and Precinct Captain is really sweet

be honest you can't afford your normal 6 cases because you bought $100 jeans
I can afford even more cases than I would normally purchase but no spending copious dollars on a 5-card set is not worth it.

It's like when someone follows me around the forum trying to one up me verbally I don't get mad I just yell really loud but at the end of the day I know that if they have the time to do that that their life is tangibly and in every way worse than mine and actually that kind of rage hard on just makes me feel better about myself.

Where's Kijin when you need him? We could use a good rant about materialism.
When you make bank you will understand. I went out to buy $100 jeans this weekend because I could (and because some old pairs are turning into actual trash). There comes a point where you're looking at your cards and they're just... Better than your opponents? Like each of your plays are fiscally more valuable than theirs? It's a massive elitist shit train of thought but with the number of new and in entice ways nerds try to one up each other, showing that you just have won in a life way that this pile of foil cardboard means you somehow "made it" and can afford such meaningless luxury is another piece of hay in that haystack.

You are allowed to spend money on things you enjoy; people worldwide do that sort of thing with all sorts of hobbies/interests.
You can't even use drugs a second time and people spend way more than a dark confidant foil on one go of those

What exactly about it makes it good in your opinion? Obv I think it sucks more or less, but it's kind of fascinating to me how tastes can vary like that internationally when in the US the microbrewery is everywhere in every region so every place has new and interesting things (that are usually bad but still interesting).
Also what's the beer variety like in Portugal? For whatever reason I couldn't find the level of variety I expected while in Vienna and I assumed every place I went to would have at least a dozen if not a hundred beers on tap.
