how do you upload a custom mat like that?

Find the folder where MODO is installed, and look for the following folder:

%WHEREVERTHEUCKYOUINSTALLEDTHECLIENT%\WotC\MTGO\Graphics\UI\backgrounds\gamemat

Save the image there, making sure that you add _a to the file name right before the dot. Run the client and you can now pick your image just like any other of the pre-installed ones.

In Casual, people ragequit upon sight of JTMS. I loved how this dude playing it ragequit to my deck. This was a Flash-Rector into Recycle deck. I was having a hard time with an Oblivion Ring that couldn't be countered (had to spend a Muddle the Mixture and a Counterspell in order to resolve Flash ). The game was actually won by Vesuva copying my opponent's Celestial Colonnade, as I was trying to get the second Recycle out to create huge snakes. Candelabra of Tawnos nullified an Icy Manipulator and the guy conceded right after
putting JTMS on the stack.
