I was keeping this info with admin for Dragon's Maze, but I'll make it public now the spoiler season is over. I got in contact with WOTC about receiving possible a possible spoiler for this website and they responded to me in an optimistic manner. We did not however reason a spoiler for Dragon's Maze, nor did I expect to with our website having only a forum currently.

Perhaps we can make it a goal to have the front page
at least in layout design by the next set, so when I talk to my contact again we can move higher on the list of prospects to receive a spoiler. We need ideas for what we want the website to be. We've discussed writing articles and promoting streaming as well as maybe deckbuilder programs. Captain Murphy had an imaginary friend to make the website for us but he never surfaced.

I've actually been dagger'ed a lot today, and it does not feel so great.

You don't understand what a CI warrior is. They're trolls on Salvation and they usually get suspended once a month and eventually banned for sticking their nose in other peoples business. Think LogicX.

I definitely think you're on the right track with a lot of that, but to be honest we're not exactly trying to get the site off the ground at the moment. We're not even an actual website yet -- just forums, and forums that are not being maintained yet. Unlike Salvation we plan to draw in crowds to an actual purposeful website that has a great community as a secondary backdrop, not just be a forum website. There is actually a new domain waiting to go as well as some neat plans for software that should make the site unique to the Magic community and hopefully give people a reason to stop by.

And not to brag but we had 75 guests (!!!) here over the weekend due to being the first website with the new spoiler properly uploaded on it for several hours. A new record for us. So we're getting out there when we put forth a little effort.

nFinally, I don't think anyone expected an exodus ala News. There wasn't really much of a choice back then. This on the otherhand was a small invisible subforum branching off from the largest Magic community on the internet, during Return to Ravnica. Banners and avatars were made to poke fun but nobody actually expected don't-knowers and don't-carer's to leave that place for this place.

Clearly a lot of people here need closure with the MTGS shit. And that appears to be happening. So that's what we're going to be talking about until Boubs does whatever he does.

I don't like lands at all - figuring out a notable land for each format is too difficult, and the lands won't even be very notable in that format (cube land?).

By limiting it to just lands, you actually just increase the time its going to take the average user to figure out whats going on...

How?

Island is always good in Standard, Misty Rainforest will always be good in Modern, Wasteland will always be good in Legacy, Bazaar in Vintage, and any good land in EDH.

Cube... well I don't play Cube so what do I know?
