Wow, that went quickly! At same point in the beginning of day two, I was seriously considering casing Stardust. Not because I felt like he was scum, but because I felt like he hadn't been under any scrutiny himself, and it felt like we couldn't win if Scumdust kept flying under the radar. Then I com...

Stardust, it seemed like you wanted to give an estimation of who are most likely to be scumbuddies. Did I miss this, or have you held off on that for now? After casing each one in turn, I decided that trying to tie people together isn't very valuable at this time. Trying to do that too early has bu...

Hello all. I've caught up to the thread, read and re-read day two. Here are my thoughts: First off: rwcraspy's case of Iso. I feel like Iso has actually done a whole lot of scummy things in this game, but raspy's case is very weak. I have a number of reasons to believe Iso is town, and they are more...

I'd just like to post that I will be less active for a while. I'll try and keep up, but I won't have time to reread posts and closely evaluate them. I just got involved in the first (minor) political scandal I've ever had inside information on, so I suspect that will be eating up at least some of my...

"My current read of raspy is town, mostly because it doesn't make sense that he would be scum and not jump on the Suga wagon." This, right? Why does being scum necessarily exclude someone from being on the Suga wagon? Either I'm misunderstanding you or you're misunderstanding me. I'm sayi...

I'm not fishing. My problem with raising a case in this instance is that I'm genuinely not sure of what direction I want to go. While I want to help give the town direction, the issue here is that I don't want to waste my time casing a townie in the event that it turns out to be a waste of my time ...

Unvote I think the scumteam is among Red/Tube/Clownfish. Unfortunately, I'm not too optimistic about the town winning this one, as cases can be made on all 3 of these players, and short of some sort of confirmation through either a Tracker or a Jailer, I don't think we'll be able to PoE our options...

PS @ Stardust: You wrote earlier that my writing makes my posts feel off somehow. Could you expand on that or give an example? Sure. imopen2 and Iso both had minor scum reads on you, so (those being my two strongest town reads) I did my best to really read into your posts since I'd considered you m...

I hope to make time somewhere in the weekend to reread the entire thread in light of the Suga town flip. In short, however, referring to the list I posted on day one, the Suga flip makes me want to take another look at TubeHunter, RedNihilist and Stardust. TubeHunter and RedNihilist were both early ...

You must not have very much faith in your Suga read, then. :stubborn: I don't really see the purpose of faith when we will know for sure what role Suga has at the end of the day. It seems like decisions that could potentially aid mafia, like forcing Checkbox to claim, are better left off until we h...

Why do you still want Checkbox to claim? He could be Suga's scumbuddy. Shouldn't we wait to see if Suga is actually scum first? What do we stand to gain from forcing Checkbox to claim before Suga's role is flipped? Do you honestly think townSuga is probable at this point? :isthatso: As I in...

Why do you still want Checkbox to claim? He could be Suga's scumbuddy.  Shouldn't we wait to see if Suga is actually scum first? He kept asking Suga to elucidate parts of his posts that seem scummy. It seems like a good method not to look to that confirm you...

Awesome, your avatar really makes the thread easier to navigate, thanks :) I forgot about this: Have you read the setup information? I did. Clownfish, the way Mafia is played here, you always want a day lynch. There's pretty much no info given out at night other than anything a PR may give. At other sites I've played, there's detailed night write ups and at those sites, a day lynch is not always useful.
Alrighty, thanks.

Clownfish, my read on Checkbox is not meta-related. It's not a quiz question, but I am in this game as an "Experienced" player, so my intention is to run you guys through the basics. Since I'm likely to carry the game on my own, I want original thought injected into the game by the newer ...

The card, like Tibalt has WAY to much variance. Apparently it's "the hotness" in control mirrors, but how many creatures are you playing in Control? A couple aetherlings? Angel of Serenity? Neither of those game ending bombs can be got after the first use of Ashiok, granted it might be har...

Also, I don't recommend ever doing what I did at the start of the game because some people might consider it not in the spirit of the game. Also, Vote Checkbox .
