Yeah this deck is terrible vs UB and UW control.... Ive tested it a bunch in my group, it's not even remotley close. I'd say 65/35 vs UB in UB favor, and 70/30 vs UW in UW favor

I think a one of is fine. You could play a 1 of chandra, arc lightning, 4th searing blood, ashcloud phoenix etc.... I don't know why you would want ETB lands?

It's for the extra scry and white source, for the same reason we ran silence last season even when not playing toil.

Flamespeaker adept doesn't make your problem matchups better.

11 mountains is fine. It's the post board games youll be needing the extra white source.

I think the 3 arc lightning should be searing blood. It's really good right now, especially when the idea is to race G1. I would also do -1 mountain +1 crag/plains/mana confluence.

I like the idea of the swiftspear, into seeker, into craackinling doom. That's all I would want to splash black for...

The whole reason to play RW burn is so you don't have to deal with a 3 color mana base.

DP is good, but its literally only good vs green devo

I imagine green devo would be a tough matchup. All of our threats matchup poorly. The obvious answer would be switch to jeskai, but if you want to stay RW, find room for reprisals, harness maybe, suspension field, banishing lights.

For me its been good vs mardu, UB control and junk aggro (its not too hot vs junk midrange). I imagine its god vs green devo since they cant remove it.

I havn't tried sarkhan in this list, but my initial thought is that I don't really want a 5 drop in my opening hand in G1. I really like chandra in that she adds to our G1 nutdraw. I also don't think sarkhan is better than stormbreath in any matchup other than green devo.

I could see also wanting elspeth and not wanting magma sprays if they bring in angers etc.. That's def much harder to SB for.

also, keep in mind thats to combat the meta at my local store from this past week, I imagine the SB will change if mono green picks back up. (locally)

vs junk mid i do: -4 swift spear -3 outburst -1 searing blood +3 Glare +2 SBD +1 Hughwing +1 Crag +1 elspeth sometime erase and banishing light depending on if i feel like.

I am 5-2 vs junk in sanctioned play with RW... Sure rhino into rhino is backbreaking, but its not THAT bad of a matchup.

I do think that mantis rider is crucial to jeskai, however I dont think boros needs charm, splashing for Dig is sweet though.

3-1 last night beating junk midrange, gr monsters and red heroic. Lost to green devotion with chord.

Played 4 hushwing main, they were fine, but pretty abysmal in race situations, luckily searing blood helps catch you back up.

That deck is not really a problem for us, but yeah you can add that under the list of cards Erase deals with.

Reprisal didn't kill Courser, but we played reprisal over glare last season. Reprisal was 2 mana instead of 3, making it better at killing the big threats last season (poly k and demon). This season, there is no threat that is back breaking that doesn't contain white, which is why glare is better than pillar/reprisal right now. This format is slower, thus being a sorcery is not really an issue, considering we have the ability to cast two spell a turn from turn 3+.

To those not wanting to play Erase, you are crazy. You can't beat whip of erebos or bow of nylea. Not to mention it hits rams, coursers, chains, b-lights, nylea and other enchantments. It is at least a 2 of.

Which is why you play glare.

Glare is better than reprisal.

Rabblemaster has "taken over" maybe 2% of my games.

You realize a jeskai list just top 8 the PT without rabble right?

Rabble is pretty lack luster in the meta of "expected" decks.

I like Rabble main and you can swap him with Firedancer post board.

Firedancer is unnecessary.

in the main? not really a fan. I like 4 hushwing in the board against a good number of matchups but game 1 Rabblemaster can just take over.

I get that it "can", but it rarely does. Junk will be on the rise, which rabble is terrible against. Play 2/2 split if you'd like, but I am convinced 4 rabblemasters is wrong.

1-1 junk aggro list from pro your (wingmate roc is really good in doubles)
0-1 gb dredge midrange... Nemesis is a bitch

Top 8 was: RW burn, red heroic ( deck looked real good), Jeskai tempo, RW control (also looked very good), 2 junk - 1 more aggro, (I can describe this when I get on a computer if someone wants) the other was a more midrange value creatures, 1 gb dredge and gr monsters playing rabble.

Rabble is the worst card in the deck.

Went 5-1-1 making top 8, then lost first round to a guy I beat in Swiss. We split the packs(24 each). Deck was legit. Rabblemaster easily the worst card in the list I ran.
