The better question is if Tasigur finds a place in Modern
4/5 on turn two that isn't Goyf seems legit.
Perhaps even Soulflayer. Trying that out with Judge´s Familar & Oona´s Prowler.

Darkblast/Thought Scour + 2 Fetches or Fetch + Gitxian Probe isn't asking much.

Funny, I was talking about this yesterday with DXI-Edge. I came up with Ooze plus Clique (20 land). Dark Blast and a small amount of discard are good too; I looked at Dimir Charm and Sultai Charm also. Losing bolt is a big loss, and you're weaker to Burn also. It's an idea worth exploring IMHO. Sorry for cutting your quote there MDU, but for emphazising the message. I find it hard to argue against the synergy between Fetches-Shard-TC. It´s just so very good when a penalty like Shards turn into a gain.

I'd play 4 dispel, which are also good elsewhere; but I suppose that if you ABSOLUTELY want to beat burn and only burn, then Dragon's Claw is ok.

Anger is indeed better. Forgot about it. Annul has worked well vs Affinity though. It´s all about stopping that Plating or other key card. It´s a trick deck. And Twin doesn´t know and Lighthouse leaves no dead card in the deck. Well, it´s only 1, but the principle is correct :)

I tried Blackburn with both Jet and Wrath for a lark. Neither felt like they belonged. For flexslot I´d rather pick a Faithless Looting based on the land count as MDU said.

This/site Clan may be good at Red deck theory and craft, but it has always been a haven of bully victims. Better focus on the game imo.

@Izzet Burn: Electromancer + Firedancer + Essence Backlash is hilarious, but xmas land. Better card economy and sweepers could be a good thing. I think Satyr might be a md card in Boros burn to be exchanged for YP$ vs control. Add 4 Skullcrack, cut an Oracle or two for a Chandra or two and shift YP$ to sb in your shell redthirst.

Orcale of Bones look ok'sh for MonoRed iterations, but there´s something annoying with being forced to cast stuff. A Red Mages gut reaction towards orders I guess. My current thoughts are very few changes. Red Based Rakdos aggro (3 dragons) with Mogis in the side instead of Erebos for Midrange and Control. Scrylands obviously. I think Mogis may have some merit in the sb exchanging Erebos as he exaggarates the beatdown aspect of aggro. Building to animate him is a fools errand. I just want them to have to choose between taking two and worry about the burn in my hand or sac their blocker.
