I had to be sketchy because I couldn't explain why I was saying why I was saying in the QT as it required me to claim.

Yeah, I think Tube really underestimated the potential he had for the win at the end, there. I knew Murphy and imopen were both suspicious of me, which was also the reason I had Void killed - he probably would've turned on me at that point, with more ferocity than any of the other living players at that juncture. Oh, I remembered another reason why I wanted Witch killed - because I thought he was some kind of limited-shot Vig variant, and would eventually shoot me.

Honestly, I just sort of stopped trying when all of the mislynches started throwing themselves in front of the Iso Beam of Death and only started thinking about things again (though not paying too close attention) when I realized the SK was on our team. I figured it was Tube mostly based on both Tube's and imopen's reactions to my epiphany.


Also, the only reason I didn't openly discuss the SK as part of our group on the last Day was because of any potential "hidden townie" or "hidden revived player" shenanigans - anything like that would have resulted in a 20-30% smaller chance of my team winning with a full outing because it would have basically made the game into a Kingmaker.

Advice to you, Tube: Try not to shoot yourself in the foot when you're scum in future games. Also, as scum, you have to be very, very malleable to the state of the game. Even the best-laid plans can run afoul because of a stray Vig mucking about with WIFOM, or an unknown Governor stopping a lynch after you claim scum. Be careful (though not TOO careful), but be ruthless and adaptive.

So, firstly, you should know full well that I'm not ganking you for one single post. To suggest such is asinine and shows that you're not intent on figuring out the game, but rather, that you just want to discredit your wagon and misrep those that are on it.

Secondly, you're trying to appeal to my experience and ego, and that's almost always a scum tactic. Since you're sitting around at L-1, why don't you, I dunno, claim? Instead of potentially risking us losing information regarding your role, leaving the scum available to falseclaim at endgame, why aren't you explaining to us why we should believe you're town, who's scum, and why?

Thirdly, since you agree with me that there are only two scum, why would they quickhammer when there's still a chance that there's a role that could stop them from
performing a Nightkill successfully? Or, y'know, throw away the game if they think they could convince the town not to lynch their buddy (you)? Your assertion only holds up IF you're town, and I haven't seen any indicator that you might be that I can recall.

Basically, you're not approaching any of this from a town mindset - you're set on survival, obfuscation, and deprivation of information. And I'm set on your death.

Ah, that's right, Wraith went over the deep end flavor gaming. Then I took my vote off him because I thought he was being genuine. And I defended the rolestopper/roleblocker mixup in his claim(s).

The biggest hole that people came up with for what I said about the Mafia Wiki definition is that Wraith never looked it up. To which I say:

This isn't the only thing we're looking at, you know. Wraith's behavior was beyond awful yesterDay. Additionally, momentum swung from Wraith on to Suga, who flipped town, which almost always indicates that the wagon prior was a wagon on scum. Once imopen provides his analysis, I'll be performing my own to see how it stacks up and then we'll go from there.

I'm not willing to be the hammer on this one. I thought Wraith was noob, wanna-do-it-my-own-way, flavor gaming, frustrated town. And Pie hasn't given me a reason to change that read.

Pretty much exactly what I said in my post above yours. I think that Wraith's meta make his actions before replacement seem like frustrated noob town that wanted to do things his own way. And I don't think Pie has done quite enough to either confirm or deny that read.

I'm not
thoroughly convinced of it, but I also believe it well enough to not vote him. If you think he's clearly the best scum target, then go ahead and vote him. I'm not going to try to talk you out of it anymore. I already posted my analysis of his first wagon and my breakdown of his PR claims alongside the Mafia Wiki definition. And further up this page I quoted him saying he actually HAS done some research, which nullifies arguments against that.

If that's not enough for anybody else to pull their votes, that's fine. But it also means that if he flips town we're analyzing the hell out of this wagon because there will likely be 2-3 scum on it.

I think you need to re-read Day 1.

In regards to being afraid to mislynch on Day 1, I'd say that's a pretty new-player mentality. It's probably a town point in your favor, actually. Addressing the concern in question, it's not necessarily a bad thing to mislynch on Day 1 because you can almost always unearth scum from Day 1 mislynch wagons. The way the votes flow is always a great way to determine who's scum based on flips. Push your reads with conviction! People say that short Day 1s are bad but I've been in games where Day 1 lasted over 1000 posts and it made me want to punch everyone in the game in the dick for not being more decisive. It's good for the health of the game and the town to make educated decisions quickly.

Glad you're open-minded about learning Mafiathings, though.

I'm ready to hammer Suga when everyone is ready. He is Scum guaranteed. As Iso mentioned, I had this Role in a previous game and my ability was a Day ability for balancing reasons. A Lie Detector, that can act at Night,
can then lie about any information that is given to him giving there faction a huge advantage.
