Fwiw, I'll run 2 freezing until it's clearly stupid to do so just because that secret is so much easier to set up.

I'm really not a fan of split secrets (except for the defensive secrets that mage has), and never really liked two quick shots. I think wolf rider is a better card since it requires and answer. Since it's a new month, you'll probably run into a lot of other aggro decks, but as aggro starts to die do...

New mulligan is cool. Piledriver is cool. Might have me playing standard again; probably not.

Also, went to FNM for the first time since October. We did a goofy draft (rtr frf dtk) and I pulled an angel of serenity, an ugin and a dromoka's command. Didn't feel bad. Mythics win games.

Kibler's dragon mage is hella fun

And it's really cheap to make if you have both expansions. It doesn't matter too much what you play for the dragon top end. I have nefarian and chromaggus; some use ysera and Alexstrasza and other dragons. The deck really doesn't want Alex, since you're dealing some face damage over the course of th...

That's funny. I always liked the tron matchup. Anyway, I'll keep playing aggro until I can't. That "midrange grixis experiment" doesn't even show up for online results and I have yet to see it locally. My number one rule when it comes to deck choice is "do powerful things", and t...

Thoughts on oil rogue right now?

Yeah, shredder's just a really powerful card. Not even meant to throw an oil on, just to give you a nice 2-1. Most lists run 1 or 2. LP told me to play 1 oil, saying it was the clunkiest card in the deck. I immediately made the switch and haven't looked back. It just makes your deck run so much smoo...

Thoughts on oil rogue right now?

Yeah lol the deck isn't bad, I was just playing it way too low in the ladder where aggro and patron warrior is everywhere. I'm on your list minus a geomancer, 2 shiv, an oil (I'm 100% certain 1 oil is best), 1 fan of knives and a healbot and plus 1 shredder, 1 teacher, Loatheb, Thaurissan and 2 slud...

I'll probably be joining you guys here if I can get a few trades together and sell my standard shit. The deck looks sweet. Only thing I'm iffy on is 4 YP$. This iteration seems much slower than previous ones, and he's already a clunky card.

You get a card back when you hit legend for the first time.
If you keep a high rank within legend, you get invites to tournaments.

You can't build a budget version of a deck like this. Mage aggro is probably still good, though, using mostly classic set cards. It was my first deck, and got me to about rank 14 consistently

[Deck] All Oiled Up

After playing with it for a while over the past week, I think it's garbage now. It has way too many unfavorable matchups, as well as so many starting hands that just fold to any kind of pressure. This is kind of a shame, since I absolutely love the late game when I'm on that deck. You always have mu...
