I'm saying this as someone who hasn't played sanctioned magic since October and has only sold a white blue heroic deck I never even played.

You might not be interested now, but the reason you get into Modern is because, if you buy staples, you don't have to buy decks later. You're setting yourself up to have to buy this shit later.

Don't sell your decks (except for standard stuff) unless you actually need to. Or at least keep a deck or two for each format. If you don't, if you get interested in the format again, you'll have to get over the cost barrier again and regret from selling your shit might stop you from playing again altogether.

Playing hearthstone again cause they printed a 6 drop that reduces the cost of cards in your hand by 1 every turn.

Yeah, we're back to combo rogue.

I think what happened with this us that some pro said it was good (which it has potential to be) and a bunch of people are just jamming it in every deck so I get a bunch of free wins because people are making a non powerful play on turn 6. Most of the decks don't even make use of the cost reduction and still end up not using all their mana on turn 7

Nothing in particular. I just thought that red would improve the deck. Out of curiosity, I looked at all of the potential options in blue and realized that they're all pretty awful for a spell-based combo deck.

I'm questioning why Thassa, though. The card doesn't do that much for you that you wouldn't be better off just playing something that gave you access to more colors.

I don't mind, really. I've been filling my Friday nights with other social things that I'd probably enjoy more than a good standard environment. It would be nice to play online instead, but I'm worried that I'd waste too much of my free time on the program. So instead, I just talk about Magic here and watch videos of much better players enjoying the game.

Well he himself is really weird looking and it shows in the monk. The eyes look crossed and crooked. It's like if Lenny from Of Mice and Men was petting a lotus to death

Really, burn being tier 1 just seems incredibly unhealthy for every format. It's always best as a counter-meta deck anyway.

I wouldn't want to have Blood Moon as my main game plan in a format where burn is top tier.
