Meh, just prep for Storm, Twin, Junk, Robots and Burn. My UWR Burn deck has been failing so I might go back to RWB and try some Bloodchief Ascensions. Either that or let the madness take me and play UWR Delver/Geist.

Very recently I have started getting my ass handed to me by the Sultai Tasigur deck. Aside from Valorous Stance and praying on Disdainful Stroke. What other options do we have to fight this new menace?

It is more that, for me, Lavamancer just dies without doing anything so damn often. At least Swiftspear gets a hit in. I also played 19 Mountains back then to Stifle-proof myself so had not a lot of food for him. If Elves stays this popular (Indy is a hotbed for it), I might have to just swallow my ...

Perhaps it looks odd to me because I have tried to get away from Lavaman for as long as I have been playing the deck. First fetchless with Devils, now with Swiftspears.

So much hate for my local players. Every last one backed out of going to regionals next weekend. Makes it a little hard to justify going. Their moms were too busy to take them? They didn't want to deal with a 6 hour drive and a hotel stop. The annoying part was that they were all but certain that t...

I don't need to outgrind. I just need to squeak out the last few points of damage. I think we are just going to have to agree to disagree on the usefulness of Keranos in our sideboard.

I am not trying to play control. I am trying to get reoccurring card advantage using hard to remove permanents to finish off my opponent. It helps to avoid running out of gas before killing our opponent.

Why do you dislike Keranos? It is very hard to remove, and either bolts or draws a card each turn. The only downside is that it doesn't impact the board the turn it enters.

I like Keranos against control. Other options being planeswalkers (limited removal for them) or counterspells for their removal. Wild Slash has been fantastic alongside Mentor and Seeker. A few Aggro/Burn lists at the top tables, as well as some token options.

4-0 tonight with the deck I posted with only very minor sideboard changes. Only dropped one game and it was because I couldn't find my second red source. Stance is the real deal and Slash is an excellent replacement for Magma Jet.

So team italia is a bad idea? lol While I am not so sure Team Italia is a good idea anyway, that isn't what he was suggesting. He wanted a burn deck with a few white/blue/black cards to answer Iona, Grislebrand, Emrakul, and Leyline not a value deck that just happens to have some burn spells in it.

Because BBE was a feared card in a deck that had a "high" saturation in Modern whereas Siege Rhino is a Standard card that is just starting to see play. I am not saying you are wrong, just going over their likely reasoning.

I only pimp out my Legacy deck. I feel safer doing that one because, theoretically, I shouldn't need to change cards all that often. I don't buy foils of cards that I am testing, only ones that I am sure I want to use. The foil Cruises will probably go into my Standard deck since I have them.

Not just the duals, although Volcs are going to drop in value. The foil Cruises, Swiftspears, Leylines, etc. All just trade fodder now.
