Chandra seemed shitty constantly in a world of midrange. Last season we boarded her in for aggro and control and its even more midrange than ever before so I think thats where she belongs. I wanted removal against green constantly, Pillar and Reprisal are certainly options alongside Disdainful Stro...

This is what I've been playing with: ~~deck~~ I've played around with both Rabble and Brimaz versions and so far I've preferred Brimaz, but I could see running either until the meta shapes up. Jace has been a nice 4 drop but I still need to play more games with it. The ultimate in theory should be ...

Rabblemaster's problem for me is that it can't get around random 2/x (Courser, random 1 drop creatures, Fleecemane) and randomly dies to aggro hate like Bile Blight, Strike, Magma Spray, ect. Brimaz gets around all of that.

While I like the flash, I'm not such a big fan of the drop in power level. I'm really not high on rabbles though. It's not like he's bad, cause he's not, but I feel we can do better.
I think Brimaz is where we want to be in that spot. He's been excellent for me.

Maindeck Hushwing Gryff seems pretty weak when against anything not Junk or Green Devotion. (And isn't most of green devotion etb sideboarded?) I was toying around with the idea, but when compared alongside Mantis Rider, it just seemed bad.

When i first started playing & brewing UWR decks similar to the ones discussed in this thread (more or less after Mantis Rider was spoiled), I was trying her out as a 1 and 2 of. She is simply win-more. The deck isn't very creature dense, and you typically want to tap out for creatures asap than...

LP I definitely think you're right about Brimaz. I reached the same conclusions. My deck I posted above got me to split the finals of a playset tournament (so 2x each card in khans & $100), and I think I would not have got there if it was Rabblemaster instead. The main thing that drew me to Brim...

I'm playing a slower list than you with Keranos main, and I'm actually looking to move him to the board. I find he is either really good or kind of useless. Against grindy midrange matchups & control...and I guess the mirror, he is amazing. But it feels really bad to draw him against Green devot...

I tried Jace in similar lists and I felt the mana was too stretched. Seems like wanting white and red turn 2 into eventual RR spells leaves little room for UU. (besides Dig Through Time, but that is a much later game spell anyway) Admittedly, I'm playing Brimaz over Rabblemaster, so that might be why

Don't always run out Rabblemaster mainphase 1 to get a token either. I saw Tom Ross mainphase 2 a Rabblemaster tons of times versus Mono Black to force them to use removal on a 1 or 2 drop.

I played a 3 game match with my UWR midrange brew, and the white Prowess Bear that got lifelink performed really well. With 1 burn spell, it can eat courser and trade up to Polukranos. Very solid 2 drop for what my deck is trying to do.

After playing EotGR in Rabble Red, I'm solid on my position that it is bad in burn. People leave in enough removal spells versus Burn to stave off a few Phoenix hits, deal with Young Pyro ASAP, and take care of Mutavaults. (Usually because they have worse cards to take out anyway) Adding Eidolon doe...

I just did the most broken shit vs GW aggro. I was on the draw. Turn 2 Young Pyromancer. He untaps and plays a turn 3 Fleecemane Lion, so his board is Soldier of the Pantheon, 2/2 Experiment One (He played Soldier turn 1...number of plausible reasons the Exp. One is a 2/2), and a Fleecemane Lion. Un...

That might be why you think Rabble Red is hard. The indestructible mode is merely okay, but I always try to side out 4x Skullcrack and at least 3x Boros Charm vs aggro because you never want to draw 2 Charms against them. Even then I usually take out 4x Charm, 4x Skullcrack, and some number of Phoen...

What build are you running? I think WW and Rabblered are free wins, and while Mono Blue isn't easy, I'd say it's 50/50 or even slightly favored towards us and can be a matchup that leaves you a lot of room to just sequence better than your opponent.

It seems that anything less than 4 Magma Jets is wrong X_X. I feel that the scry 2 is so crucial to the deck to either hit the necessary lands on curve or to prevent flooding in the mid to late game.
