Yeah they do. I have "child bearing" hips (and an ass that won't quit) and i'm a dude. My ass and hips are big to the point where I have to where I have to wear women's jeans because my other options are rip the ass out of properly fitting men's jeans or wear loose men's jeans. As a proper faggot I can't, in good conscience, wear loose jeans. As a magic player I don't have the money to constantly buy new jeans, this, means that all my jeans are women's cut. Since my hair is long people call me ma'am all the
time, until they see the goatee, provided they only see me from behind. Clean shaven, a stuffed bra, and with a little makeup I can pass for tall (6'1") woman with little extra effort. Believe me, I have done it.

So I was supposed to play a GPT earlier and it was sealed deck. Decided to drop and take home the packs when it had Elspeth and Thoughtseize in my pool.

Currently utilizing Rubblebelt Maaka to get past Caryatids. They have been good in testing so far.

Isn't his deck a build-around Fanatic? I don't think you can change Zealot or BTE as easily as that. If I'm to go fast aggro, I wouldn't want to have 4 copies of Fanatic as it will only do 3-4 damage most of the time.

GHC is always a threat, though.

The thing here is, it's only 1 GHC, and there would be more games that 1 Hammer would be the better card that you play than the games where GHC takes you the distance. It's also synergistic with the deck: adding two damage to Fanatic and making it able to attack right out of the gate; and it allows you to turn those extra lands to threats.

Fanatic is a good finisher provided you can determine when the best time to play him.

Decklist. I'm pretty sure I would've put Hammer over that singleton GHC. Did that GHC do work?

I drafted Theros and went 3-0 when somebody passed me a Hammer of Purphoros, 2 Lightning Strikes, and a Magma Jet. So I went all red with a light splash of blue for Griptide and Aqueous Form.

We'll see how it goes in testing. The choice is whether to have the power of scry-draw or a late game finisher.

Ah how could I forget about pod and affinity. Soul Sisters looks like a pretty bad matchup with Scapeshift, or anything that maindecks Aven Mindcensor and Leonin Arbiter.

I'm going to a Modern event this weekend and honestly it's my first sanctioned one. What are decks I should watch out for? What I know so far is Jund, UWR, and RDW. I did face a hate bears deck as well. I'm going in with Scapeshift btw.

If that's the case, there aren't much creatures in white that are aggressive enough. You do get guys like Dryad Militant, and Imposing Sovereign.

IIRC there are more Heroic targets from white. Maybe that would be the better approach. Also, Martial Glory?

I'm ok with using scrying guildgates in a midrange deck. However, looks you're sticking to just shocks if you want a 2-color low curve list.

In Standard, you'd probably only use his 0 ability. Unless you already have a lot of creatures on the field and want to accelerate into another drop. If anything, Xenagos loves BTE.

We should probably make an AIR list with 3cmc as the top. If you manage to stick a hammer, almost everything in your deck is a live drop.
