@Yarpus: merging your two descriptors: "balls-to-the-wall" and the established "all-in-red," when this decklist arrives I propose it is named "Balls-in Red." If I am playing a "balls-to-the-wall" version of red devotion, does that make my deck "balls dev...

I'll have you know that I rarely ever see a D-hungry mouth or ass around me. Because they're usually full. So you've disproven my reasoning, but proved my larger point: you wouldn't know a d-hungry orifice because you've only ever seen full ones. Also I need to get my hair did, because it's gotten ...

@ Darthstabber I think it's probably better to MB for aggro / midrange. The deck accells at that. If you want to be pre-boarded for Control, Pyro Red w/ reckoners SB is probably the better call. The list I posted with the extra falters is probably a good option too, although I won't get to test it ...

I just picked up a fun rules snippet from an article...the damage generated by Burning Earth can be redirected to planeswalkers. So not only can you tie down UXx decks manawise, you can kill their Jace with their own spells. Too funny... This is new information that makes me think better of burning...

Ug control, the proactive counterspell deck

So I know this is redmage's board, but just because you love steak doesn't mean you can't enjoy fish from time to time. This deck began back in rav/csp/tsp/10th standard when I was called out on being a 1 trick pony redmage (so much good burn in that time), and as a former bluemage I was mildly insu...

If you aren't main decking reckoner then 21 is plenty sufficient. I may be the only one not maindecking him, but believe it's the right call. He's just so slow, and you get so much speed with pheonix in it's place. As good as fanatic is, you don't need to squeeze every little bit out of him.

Chandra, pyromaster is a great card but it's immediate impact is roughly the same as goblin shortcutter, and in devo red any 4 drop should do a metric ton on impact.
