Cruise > Dig here?? If you are going to Dig for 2 bolts, why not Cruise for 3 bolts :sherlock: In all seriousness, Dig is twice as expensive, and thus harder to splash. Just because you can get double blue easy, doesn't mean it won't cost 2/3 life for the privilege. It's not quite as enticing when ...

Strasky has posted some more on reddit (username = straca3) Q. How were stormbreaths for you? With an expected rise in Wingmate Rocs, would you consider going up to 3/4? A. They are great, but you probably don't want more than 2, because they are really expensive. Q. How many times did you cast Phoe...

Anax and Cymede seems like it could be great in Brad Nelson's list, or any other list with Hordeling Outburst. [card]Titan's Strength[/card] and Gods Willing aren't embarrassing to play as Heroic enablers.

Doubt it. I think it's good enough to maindeck, so you don't have to spend all your sideboard slots on it. I guess that's meta dependent ultimately.

The best cheap (CMC) replacements for Chained appear to be Singing Bell Strike and Suspension Field , along with Banishing Light . Strike stands out in particular, as it is still a tempo play even if they enchantment removal, and it won't trigger ETB blow outs. It would also allow the mana base to b...

Yeah totally, I was just trying to keep the curve low. I'm not sure Chained is worth the hoops you have to jump through. Vk and WT are fine when you are curving out, but bad topdecks, just like any early drop aggro creature. Apart from the mirror, it seems to me that not a lot of decks are utilising...

Against tokens (specifically Xenagos) or small creatures, sometimes Desecration Demon never got to untap, and opponents went straight around it. Giving your opponents a choice whether your creature can do creature things is not upside. Master attacks for 5 each turn, it's as simple as that. I'm not ...

All of their interaction is 3 or less, if they aren't casting removal spells, they aren't taking damage off Eidolon. I guess they start Duress'ing after board? I like Eidolon out of Rabble Red against Jund Walkers, but isn't their strategy against Burn to race with Nissa and Xenagos?

If the plan is to go deep down Flamespeaker's rabbit hole, isn't Elspeth, Knight-Errant the stone cold nuts?

Seems like a reasonable card to just run anyway, especially with (Wall,) Splicer, Finks, and Brimaz etc. on defense.
