Scouring Sands is this format's Electrickery (I miss that card). The only problem against Boss Sligh lists is them running Hammerhand and Swiftspear being x/2. It does trade well with Hordeling Outburst.

The clock isn't really the problem with the Sphinx. Crackling Doom seems to be our only answer. In fairness, our Chained to the Rocks become discard spells if necessary.

I have to disagree. While it is not doubt that Abzan and Jeskai are the strongest decks right now, they are not dominating and there are a lot of other viable decks in the format. RTR-THS was stale, THS-KTK is looking to be a very healthy format so far.

What do you guys think of Ashcloud Phoenix in this list? It's a very resilient threat, it can be sacc'd to Butcher and come back later if you have the mana, and he's positioned well in the meta right now.

Retesting Roc. There are games where you can actually win on the back of just being able to cast it and leaving a token behind. The only problem is getting those raid triggers which you will likely be getting from Hordeling Outburst.

My friend needs to borrow a Sarkhan. What would be the best substitute for it (this is the list running 3). A third Sorin? SBD? I'm leaning towards a 3rd Sorin just because it smoothens out our curve and I'm never sad to see one in my hand. Or maybe the 4th Seeker or 3rd Magma Jet.

PWs and Keranos and counters, cutting most of the burn. It's a very terrible SB strategy IMHO; you mostly want to stick what what you're already doing.

Going agressive is obviously an option. Which walker do you want to see resolved against you the least?

I think what makes Roc great in this deck is the disposable 1/1 Goblins it can generate. You will have a way to get that extra token most of the time.

Might be a little too top heavy. I might try to jam Brimaz in there instead of Rabblemaster.

But do take note that Hordeling Outburst just eats Jeskai alive unless they have Anger maindeck. If everyone catches up to the strategy, Mardu Charm might be better but it's just harder to cast.

Oh, and this one has a bad matchup with Unwritten devotion decks. Doomwake Giant is just bad for us.

I'm agonizing over Mardu Charm and Hordeling Outburst, but maybe it's just because I got trashed by my teammate's UB control list and I would have won games if I had the charm instead of Outburst (always get answered by Bile Blight). I have to test this one out. I'm also testing Rocs over Stormbreath.
