The "slip" is an attempt to seem town. He INSTANTLY claimed verifiable information (HM/Manders will back up his shroud, obv) in response to pressure, without regard of revealing information to scum RIGHT BEFORE A MASSCLAIM . That's because he's not afraid of scum having extra information.....
