if people are playing U/w devotion seriously than I definitely need some mistcutters back in. I'd want to fit in 3 but I cant hedge that much space. I definitely know I want to take out -4 domri -1 xenagod, -2 flesh // blood, -x Stormbreah Dragons (keep some in because they are playing D-sphere now ...

helix is still just another 1-1 removal spell for exava IMO. the most important cards in that MU are Phoenix and Chandra I notice your latest 75 doesn't feature any Chandra yourself Z, so it really comes down to how many phoenixes you draw as burn (because black has no answer for it) how many Chandr...

The real problem with crypt incursion is it doesn't actually do anything. I've still won against Fabiano who crypt incursioned me for 38 last year. It seems good on the surface but if you don't have sphinx's (he was grixis) or any significant catch-up you literally spent a card on just life. Merchan...

You misunderstood me, I meant UNDERWORLD CERBERUS is disgusting against Burn and Control in a good way ^_^ Though Whip or RR might just be better (RR for 3 for T5 is usually GG against most decks esp. if you follow up with SBD or something). In regards to HDF, sure its bad on the curve but it hits ...

transformational dos rakis heralded by redthirst last season is a valid strategy Steal game 1s, go over the top with value R/-b cards post board 1st I advocate cerberus or SBD, not both, as an over the top.finisher. 2nd only as a 1 or 2x on 23/24 land SBD is fragile so I'm not a fan. RR is hard to g...

How does burn kill cerberus without cards? Against control its slow, wouldn't recommend really. still a decent threat from an angle that can return spike jesters and exavas to your hand. G/r also can't do shit all against a 6/6. polukranos doesn't live long enough to fight it and you side out weak c...

I really never was a fan of whip in these lists btw, at least not MB. Its such a huge loss of tempo, and you play so many spells that its really just about protecting those creatures you do play to win the game in a timely fashion before they get to play out their more impactful cards. Whipping an e...

Reposted from Pyrored: I very much like the idea of siding into a burn deck vs. Mono black. Nice drown in sorrows you got there huh? While the original PyroRed could transition from aggro to control if the game goes long, do you feel like PyroRakdos doesn't have the same fluid flexibility with the loss of Chandra, Pyromaster ? Wait why does PyroRakis have to lose Pyromaster? If you're mana is playing phoenix it sure as fuck can ...

I didn't really hear your reasoning for wanting a Selesnya charm over the 4th skylasher btw? is there any upside to the 2/2 with knight over the skylasher that cant be azo charmed? I didn't use Gyre sage over Caryatid. I DID just need a consistent 3 more dorks that let me bestow earlier or Stormbreath or Xenagod. The fact that gyre sage can never really attacak in the mirror (Because of 2/4 body). Another thing is this deck definitely needs double red so Sylvan caryatid actual...

the only 4-drop I'd be curving into is 3x Deadbridge goliath... Unless you count Ghor-Clan but that's not ideal (well Ghor-clan into bestow boon satyr on ghor-clan is nice) I have 0 Xenagos Planes walkers main board. The best it does is a t4 stormbreath dragon but if thats all youre using it for why...

I think cutting one Xenagod would be okay. If you expect more Jund than control I would keep both. It's the single most important card in the matchup. I'd side out both Polyk and Goliath vs control so I don't think there's any advantage to running Goliath in that meta. Even vs Jund I prefer Polyk t...

if you expect nothing but control and jund, can that really be said though? I mean obviously if people are still on red decks and master of waves... I'm talking small metas though. yeah I just said I took his list and shaped it up a bit >_> Giant growth is a card I'd play around with because the toughness can save things from bile blight and its effectively a ranger's guile against certain decks. But definitely need more land Skylashers are from when Nightveil spectres where t...

I'm trying out a few deadbridge goliaths instead in my more aggressive list. I'm using Gyre Sage/Fanatic of Xenagos over Courser of Kruphix for a mor aggressive build though so your mileage may vary. Scavenging onto either Gyre Goyf or Fanatic is pretty huge game. This is because I can build both Ju...
