Honestly I have No real clue about how the fuck I got banned from the MTGreddit. For once of some of the subs I am on I didnt break rules cause I honest just give a fuck to post much to it. I think I was more banned cause of Not what I post there BUT where I post elsewhere.

Also For the shits and giggles My only message to the mods was:

i was suspended earlier this year for saying 'someone tell mike long to sit in the chair like a fucking big boy' though

I feel a level of sadness that I didn't expect when I go back to Salvation. It doesn't feel like the same place that it had once been, the place that had helped shaped what I became in my local magic community. Salvation's community gave me a different outlook on a lot of things and it feels like a large part of the community aspect is just gone.
A couple of weeks ago I was asked what would I change if I could go back 10 years. While it was just an innocuous question at the time, it made me remember that was the time that I had just joined salvation, when I was just starting college, when I started making some of the friends that are a large part of what my life is now. Going through depression changed my personality in a way I can't quite articulate, I don't know what mindset I had necessarily back then, so I would change a great many things about what I did, I wouldn't have shied away from confrontation and eventually quit through dissatisfaction and apathy.

I don't really have a point here. I'm just rambling.

Its a hallow shell of what it could of been.
Once they favored feelings over facts and such the place feel apart. Now it barely has activity and most of its user base doesn't even post anymore.

My 6 posts in the Magic subreddit are basically "I don't get why Sargon of Akkad is such a bad guy, I watched a few of his videos and they're not really that controversial" and I caught a ban. I guess because I didn't immediately side with the anti-Hambly people. I'm not totally sure.

I think the mods are now auto banning people based on where you post.

I thought reddit was a place where people were less anal than usual about banning people for inconsequential shit?

This site is about 4yo and we have still to ban our first member.
