with bastard mafia, it's like someone burned the clue rule book and you and your friends only remember to roll the dice.

But I've got a Basic I've been working on for a Bit if that's better suited for a First Game.

I think a Basic would be better for our first game ever.

Imagine this if you will...

You sign up for a game. Your role PM comes and you're town. You spend month after month trying to make everything fit in your head to figure out who, of those in the game with you, have been on the same team trying to kill you without you knowing it. You clear numerous people in your head because their interactions with the dead scum make no logical sense.

All of a sudden, the game ends, and you learn that there were two scum teams all along and you never had a chance to know that for yourself. Those two teams did, of course, because they saw Mafia dying who were not on their team, but you, the town, did not.

Would you not be pretty upset at all the wasted time?
