Good investment.

Speaking of investing, I've heard that it's better to buy Magic the Gathering cards when their price is low, then sell them when their price is high. Is this true?

In some cases, buying high during Standard and then selling them off after rotation can inject some serious liquidity into the system. Think qualitative easing, but more local.

I prefer to buy when prices are low and then sell to online buylists at extremely low prices, ripping myself off. This is because I live a precarious lifestyle that requires funds at immediate checkpoints.

You should always be looking to resell magic cards to a dealer, especially at events when there are hundreds to thousands of other individuals who are likeminded in looking for fast cash for their cards. This kind of fast paced high volume buying environment is like a kind of social lubricant for sales and surely will result in the highest return on your dollar.

Can we all agree that the clan names are largely terrible with the exception of Mardu?

Especially abzan

Seriously try and say it and not feel like a fucking tool

And a bunch of people who get paid a lot more than them thought it was a good idea.

I think Abzan is cool, it just unfortunatately has a good name already in Junk

Grixis will remain the worst name of the 10

Temur is pretty bad
Sultai is pretty bad
Dimir is pretty bad

The rest I can see being used

I have less of a problem with Dimir given it isn't being forced onto us by our overlords SCG

Sultai is actually worse than Abzan, but it's just so uninspired that I barely want to make fun of it.

I liked all the Shard names. Most of the Guild names were alright. They blew it with the Khans wedges.

This statement is nonsensical. It's so bad that they don't use it.

Given I don't recall them ever using Izzet Delver or Azorious Miracles, I don't think they use any of the guild names

However bad it may or may not be, Dimir isn't worse than any of the clan names

not to beat a dead horse black and blue, but did SCG even stream when Ravnica city of fritters came out? If so did any of us watch it to know if they used Dimir?
