Seems really nice against shit dozens of tokens strategy and the overhyped CoCo. Thank you WotC.

Has applications against collected company, chord of calling, goryo's vengeance, through the breach .... and for sure other fringe stuff i don't remember. Still it is a very narrow card, at most you can play it as a 2-of in sideboard

Seems fine though, definitely worse than containment priest in formats where that is legal

Oh snap, this is a nice SB option against Splinter Twin, too.

It's a narrow counterspell for creature search effects and token cards. It just sucks that it doesn't actually counter the spell (so Splinter Twin has to wait a turn, whatever triggers or other side effects of spells that produce tokens or put creatures into play can still happen, albeit not ETB triggers).

Not a fan.

Counterspell that also draw you a card no matter what.
