This was spoiled on the GP Atlantic City stream. I can proudly take credit as the user Kviiiscralt in the twitch chat who dubbed it the immediately popular nickname "Borosblossom", but other than that, the card is just way too expensive for its effect.

A tweaked Goblin Assault would be cool as a Battalion enabler.

Magicspoilers.com is where I get most of my images from if there's something spoiled I can't get to first.

I mean am I just so bad at Magic that I can't see how this card is that bad? It's a one-card strategy: land this, block until you start getting an absurd number of tokens each turn, win seems plausible. It practically nullifies board-sweepers since that just gives you another turn of army, and is a constant build in pressure.

WotC is definitely afraid of creating another Bitterblossom. This should have probably had CMC of 4, but their idea of token generating enchantments for 4 is Endless Ranks of the Dead. Still, I have this urge to test it as a finisher in my Sphere of Safety deck. After the opponent's creatures come to a standstill, I have trouble finishing the game. This probably won't help, but the inevitability this creates may just be worth the slot.

Will someone please explain to me how this card works. I'm very new so try not to overload me with tons of jargon.

I assume you have some kind of idea how turns work in magic.
At the start of your turn, you untap your permanents so you can use them again this turn. Then there is the Upkeep where special stuff happens (such as, this card's stuff). After that you draw a card and the rest of your turn happens.
In the Upkeep, this enchantment (which is in play continuously) will create an effect that places a counter on it. Usually you keep track of counters with dice, or glass beads or something. After placing a counter on it, the card checks how many counters it has, and creates that many 1/
1 tokens (that can attack the same turn because of haste). These tokens act just like normal creatures.

Say you play this card on your 5th turn. Right away it does nothing because it only does it's trick in the .... Upkeep, very good!
So your 6th turn comes around, you untap and go to your upkeep. Now the enchantment does the thing it likes to do and you put a counter on it. Next, you check how many counters are on it (1!) and make that many (1!) tokens.
The turn after that (the 7th) you will have another upkeep. You place another counter on the enchantment, and check how many counters it has (2 now!) and make that many additional tokens (2).
And so on.

Hope this helps :V

MoStinky was so confused by this card that he had to double-down on his card ruling request.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that's how it worked. This card is no fun to play against when you're new and have no idea what's going on. OH WELL! Thank you for the "Magic For Dummies" explanation.

np, glad we could be of service. Feel free to ask more mtg questions if you feel like it.

In retrospect, this card is rediculous in gatecrash limited. The format is overall very slow and the triggered abilities of the white denizen plus battalion triggers make this ability quite overwhelming at times.
