Yeah... I don't think the problem is killing the opponent after MoC hits.
redthirst is redthirst, fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. He was the leader of the Fires of Salvation, the only clan I'm aware of to get modded off the forums so hard they made their own forums.
Degenerate? Sure. Loudmouth? You bet. Law abiding? No ****ing way.
Great guy to have around? Hell yes.
I love the D...

Play Fling with Vexing Devil so when your opponent is at 4 or less life you can play VD, they'll let it resolve, then Fling it at them anyway.
You just got killed with two trash cards, mother fucker!

How do you figure? Even if you activate Reckoner's first strike, he still only takes one damage...which he can then deal to this dude, making a total of 2 damage marked on him. You're forgetting Boros Reckoner. He can trade 1:1 as well.I actually got thinking about him. I did a quick search...the only cards currently in Standard that have at least four power and first strike or double strike...thus, the only cards that can trade with him 1:1 are Carnival Hellsteed, Gisela, and Minotaur Aggressor. As far as I know, only ONE of those has seen evenSome interesting cards. I wonder if there is a combo you can build around Master of Cruelties?
limited Constructed play. That means that this guy is going to be chewing through his opponents ranks unless they've got some neat tricks to pull, which are always possible. Indestructibility, for one...and Angelic Skirmisher could just be another one.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious here. It's pretty early and I haven't been sleeping, so that's no surprise.
I'm just amazed by how dumb you can consistently pretend to be.

Reckoner's a 3/3.
3 damage + 1 damage = 4 damage.
3 damage + 1 damage = 4 damage.

I was wondering if someone would suggest that the redirected damage had deathtouch. I was happy to see that *I* was the only stupid one this morning.
I can maths...really. Maybe it's because I'm sitting in an upper division microeconomics class (Calc intensive) that makes it so I can't do simple sums...

I imagine giving MoC evasion in a Grixis shell shouldn't be too hard, and then since you're Grixis, you should have access to the necessary burn. But again you're now playing bad cards to make a bad card less bad. Although I'm sure the satisfaction of winning with it will easily make up for 2-3 defeats playing it.

Does losing life and a life total becoming something mean the same thing, though? I feel like it wouldn't trigger.Saw this on Reddit...MoC + Rix Maadi Guildmage's second ability.
Boom. Headshot.
it counts as losing life. the reverse is true too, if a card said your life total becomes x and your life was under that, it counts as gaining life

that up.
In other news, I think it just hit me how awesome Sin Collector is. In an aggro deck, it basically reads "Search opponent's hand, exile target boardwipe, proceed to bash face with impunity." The fact that it comes down a turn before Supreme Verdict just makes it so pleasant. Yes, it competes with Silverblade Paladin and the bunch, but I think it's worth a sideboard inclusion, at least. I keep hearing talk about Dega this and Dega that. How about it, guys?
