So FIFA Date today, good day as any to start this one. How's your country doing? Your region? What are your favorites? Discuss all things Futbol ITT!

Right now, Portugal (our host nation) is losing 0:1 to Russia, 70+ minutes to go... GO TEAM!

UPDATE: And that was the final score. Still second place in the group after the Russians...

I am just hoping that Germany can finally step up and be the bride instead of this repeated bridesmaid shit they pull every Cup.

I've never been into Futbol, but the hubby digs Ireland or Germany, so I'll say one of them? Keep me updated on how they're doing! haha

Brazil's gonna have some pressure!

And something tells me that Spain's gonna disappoint in 2014.

Guatemala plays against Jamaica tonight... we NEED to win this. Tough one.

I always support England and I'm hoping Rooney pulls his head in and plays like the wage he gets this time around

One goal makes the difference for Guatemala right now...

We're out of the World Cup right now, and if we score we get back in... fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Yeah, thanks. You should see the table of positions. In the end we took three more goals than we should have allowed, and Jamaica passed with the same amount of points as us, but doing what they needed to do and winning at home by 3-1.

We've never been to a World Cup (final stage) and I really didn't have my hopes up, since we've had far better teams than this one and still we hadn't made it. This time we didn't even made it to the fourth and final round before the WC (hexagonal). Oh well...

Australia is having a hard time too. Lots of debate on if our old players should step back for the new. All we know for sure is that this will be the last world cup with our current team if they keep them on.

England on the other hand... 2 wins and a draw currently leading the group. Looking good.

Brazil 3 - Croatia 1

It was a self-goal.

It was not a penalty.

Discuss. :munch:

Croatia deserved a draw honestly

They did . I watched a rerun of the game last night and I have to say that the penalty was a dumb move by the Croatian and a smart one by the Brazilian. The referee is never at fault there.

The speaker on TV:

"this reminds me of an old lady getting run over by a truck when crossing the lane"

Spain 1 - Netherlands 5

by ( G_R )
That's just disrespectful.

The old lady joke is funny though.

Holland is now a serious candidate to take home the cup. :monocle:
