Who else is stoked for Farcry: Blood Dragon?

Postby Col. Khaddafi » Mon Apr 15, 2013 7:22 pm

So, how about having all the 80's memes compiled into a FPS who exploits the full capabilities of modern day hardware?

I've been watching the trailer and the gameplay, and I'm pretty much excited about this game, something which is very rare for me.

even the official website is a something to behold

Who else is going to download this precious little gem on May 1st?

Looks amazing. I don't play a lot of games any more, but I will be getting this.

The 80s trailer totally sold me honestly.

I'm snatching it up, love me some good 80's action movie references

IGN had the first 15 minutes of gameplay and it looked sick

Is it a standalone downloadable game or do I need to buy the main Far Cry 3 game?

yeah the best part is that its standalone, it has nothing to do with Farcry 3.

The game apparently started as a joke when programmers were blowing some steam from their triple A assignements, then it caught up and they finished it.

Love the guy giving the cyberfinger and sayng fuck you after blowing up some guys grenade-style.

Good game! It offers about 5-7 hours of gameplay, some solid FPS action, and an inspired 1980's B-movie feel.

8.5/10

The campaign is about 5 hours with the remaining time going towards achievements / item collection.
