Just started reading comic books.

I'm starting with the Original X-Men series, as they have always been my favorite. Any recommendations for a complete newbie? The literal only comic/graphic novel I've ever read in my life was Watchmen, and I fell in love with it.

What genres / types of stories are you looking for?

At the moment, I'm reading the ones I know and love partly because I know and love them and partly because I want more background to go with the superhero TCG I play.

V for Vendetta is a masterpiece in my opinion. And I'm not a comic books fan (I prefer mangas).

holy shit comic fans

DEATHMATCH #1 was incredible this week

it's about 32 heroes and villains in a fight-to-the-death battle royale.

and the issue is only 1$.

I had never heard of Boom Studios before this since they are a smaller comic imprint but jeez, top notch first issue.

The Walking Dead?

I promise you it as at least %500 better then the Series.

Season Two of the show is replaced with The Group Not sitting around on a Farm talking and looking for Carl.

Constantine and V for Vendetta(Short) get Nods too.

That's a tall order, as I enjoy the show thoroughly. I'll probably read it after the show ends

The Show and The Comic don't follow the same story line. Like Darryl isn't in the comic.
