Hopefully I'm not the only one in the LA area or inland empire

Los angeles California. Baldwin Hills. I play at next gen games on Wilshire and Highland.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

How is it there? I play in San Dimas myself. Used to be a real good spot but a lot of the older, good players have mostly stopped playing standard, or half the good players ended up getting jobs at TheMonstore, yet still come over to this LGS when they get off work (but miss FNM). So I don't know how much longer this will work out.

It's real cool. Standard and draft tournies Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday's cash, tourney, 5 dollar entry, first is usually 25(average turnout of 15ish) Wednesday I haven't been to in a while but it's high roller. 15 and 10 for draft and standard respectively with higher payout and Fridays FNM of course. This Friday there were 26 drafters and 16 standard players. I think when modern masters comes out, where going to have a Sunday sealed league. Most of the people are really cool.

This Wednesday, I'm going to a place called Legacy games in I don't know where but apparently the competition is better and there are bigger turnouts. Details coming later.
