[deck]GR Redshit[/deck]

This is what I've been testing so far, based on what I currently own. Sylvan Caryatid may be better here, but having a dork that can attack is sometimes relevant, and the Morph ability has been put to use on occasion. Mana base may need work, but it's been fine so far. Roar of Challenge is a fun-of, and when it works, it works. Ashcloud Phoenix could probably be there in less copies. Could probably use another Xenagos, the Reveler, because he's fucking sick with Rabblemaster and Hordeling Outburst, and with Purphoros too.

Also, I guess this can be the GR Monsters thread, where people can discuss mana dorks and big dumb fatties.

This is more R/g Aggro than monsters. Monsters can be aggressive but plays a different game.

Relevant article. The list he posts at the end is very similar to what I have at the beginning of the thread. Feels like I'm on to something.

Updated list.

[deck]Sideboard[/deck]

Undefeated 4 rounds at FNM. LGS ran a tournament on Sunday, and I took first place. Walked away with a cool $225 in cash.

Details fuzzy, got drunk at the bar next door afterwords.

R1 Bye?
R2 Mono white.
R3 GR Monsters
R4 GR Monsters

Cut to Top 4.
Semi's GR Monsters
Finals GR Monsters.

Current match record on the deck from tournaments and FNM's, 13 wins, 1 loss. Shit's the real deal.

Didn't do so hot at the GP. Changed the burn package around and did 4 Claws, 1 Stoke, and added a 2nd Queen in the main. I think I'm just going to keep playing this until I find something else that I feel comfortable playing. Izzet Burn seems like it might be something I'd enjoy, not sure.

Oh, and this happened, which was kind of neat.
