Serum Visions has never been reprinted. btw big changes to MTGO viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3387
Wow...booster prices will be shooting up, I suggest HEAVY FARMING from 27-12.

Not sure how I feel about the changes as long as booster prices stay >3 it won't effect grinders to much but this is going to annoying limited players, collectors and those who enjoy opening booster.

You're a true junkie MUD, if you aren't bothered by the prize changes. They're the worst for you - constructed event grinder.

Can't deny that - I just think it will be like playing with extremely low costed boosters which I'm sadly use too by now since I always seem to pick up most my major magic actively again during the worst of times. I do think that booster will go up in price to 3-3.5 after the changes settle so things shouldn't be so dire.

GAH!!!

I didn't read the article correctly - I just notice that the DE entry fee has doubled T_T, once this changes happen I'll just stick with my SE/8-Mans (hopefully most of the others will do the same so they can fire at a more decent rate).

Congratulation Whole for making it into the top200 in the player of the year race (link) you just need to climb the ladder a bit more for a slot in the PotY championship (top150).

EDIT: Its always amusing when an opposing durdle/aggro player proceeds to call you a Nub or Lucksack after losing

WEEK ONE: Since Payout change

Since I'm boycotting dailies and I don't play 2-Mans - I don't really feel the sting, how about you lot?

Also anyone here enjoy playing Legacy Cube and just want to play it for fun? I have QP for the event but I dislike the format, so if anyone wants a shot send me a PM,

I enjoy playing in the 8-mans more, since I can play them anytime and don't have to sink 4 hours into it.

2 WEEKS IN

I can say I actually like the changes, it turned 8M/SE into positive EV, it raised the price of boosters (supply and demand) and DE are doable though 12 tickets is a hefty sum to lose.

2M are not dead either as originally expected (20 points for the winner and 5 points for a loss) - so those Twoo video farmers can still rejoice.

I have 50+ QP for MOCS9, which is enough for 1 Practice Preliem and the Finals.

The times are:

PDT (UTC -7 hours)

Preliems:
Sep 2, 8:30 p.m.
Sep 3, 8:30 a.m.
Sep 3, 4:30 p.m.
Sep 4, 8:30 a.m.
Sep 4, 12:30 p.m.
Sep 4, 4:30 p.m.

Length 5-6 Hours

Finals
Sep 5 7:00 a.m.

Length depends on attendance so usually 12 Hours

- - - - - - -

I'm trying to find someone who enjoys Cube and has the hours to burn (this happens to be a rare combination) to play both events and record them for me <-- recording is optional but if you do I'll be very happy. I'm pretty happy to split the Booster Cashout 50/50 (or more if you really want them).

If you do have the time let me know (via PM) and I'll send you my Log-in details on a nearer date .

^I copypasted this from my chat with Val, he said he'll be busy during the finals though - if you have time for both those events that would be great (also don't worry about recording (unless its easy for you), I only mention that since I knew Val uses twitch).

i'm loving these phantom legacy 2-man queues. i'm 4-1 so far. not sure how much these play points are worth, but it seems like an easy way to get some

Cheers, I'll PM you my account details :D

You can't sell Play Points, but I like to think of 10 Play Point as 1 Ticket (which you can only use in events) which isn't bad at all imo.

so lsv got second in that MOCS event and his pool was ridiculous. Also, I watched the stream and he basically drew exactly what he needed in 90% of dire situations

Oct. 9-12, 2015 is the BFZ prerelease, which means the cards are legal at that point - does that also mean we lose M15 and THS Block on the 9th?

i played GW megamorph maindeck Archangel of Tithes. BFZ limited is great. Green is underpowered, but so many people think that that you can draft a sweet green deck if you identify it's super open (or open a Warcaller). Also it's important to focus on synergy over raw power. A lot of people favor blue too.

i lost to marshall_lr in the finals of a legendary cube draft last night on his stream. i rewatched and he was shit talking the whole time because i was playing an aggro deck and that format is slow as fuck. he doesn't know that i've drafted that cube like 15 times now and have been forcing the aggro deck once in a while to see if it works. i was in the finals so obviously it's a decent archetype...also i had him at 3 life with 3 turns to topdeck a mountain for the win after mulling to 6 and not drawing my second color till about turn 10 so...

That happens lot with online steaming - I think they do it more for extra hits rather then bruised egos (but its hard to tell).

EDIT:   :hifive: :jam: I finally have a play-set of textless foil Lightning Bolts (they were selling for UNDER 16 tickets each (usually they're 25 though some crazy are trying to sell em for 35+).

BFZ packs are 3 tix. Should we still sell them because there isn't much in them anyway?

I've been selling them... not sure if its the correct choice or not but I don't plan on buying anymore cards anytime soon so it doesn't really matter as much for me.

I made a draft vid. Played shitty but it's got some good laughs in it, especially match 1. Would appreciate people sharing it with anyone who enjoys Limited content, I am really going to try and make higher quality ones than this going forward, time permitting. Just follow me youtube for more vids.

Io2, do you like the broken up videos or would one video per draft be better? I'm currently doing a playlist ala CFB, but I don't really have a reason to. They do it to hide results on their site player. Mine just makes a ton of videos all over the place, which might actually be worse.
