Oh Hai,

I'm a sneaky little man who likes to play card games.
I've never really played any red decks aside from a janky infinite mana-heartless summoning deck last year, but the upcoming standard has piqued my interest enough to give it a go.

Oh crap, I was supposed to say some thing that breaks the ice. Ummmmmm.....Fat Penguins! (badum-tsh)

Welcome to DTR, friend. We have plenty of food for thought in the Standard section for Red decks and more so I'd suggest looking over yonder.

Back in the day(or two years ago) that was what me and the boys would listen to on the club while consuming unhealthy amounts of alchohol in the aim of getting hype most every weekend. Those where the days.

Trap rap is only good if you take it as a joke and take into consideration that waka is actually from the hood and was never educated about anything

This looks better than MTGS already

Hola amigos! (Well that's pretty condescending of me, calling people friends that don't even know me.)

Found my way here through redthirst's signature box on MTGS...Never going back there again...

Please, make yourself at home. Partake in some of our adult discussions, and I think there's some of that cheese Harkius brought over left.

My name is Mic 29 years old, live in NorCal... i've been playing magic for about two months now and just made a Red Devotion Aggro deck with Fanatic and plan on making a Rakdos control deck of some type soon... I'm finding the learning curve pretty difficult, especially playing in limited drafts against more experienced players... But I'm very competitive and plan on slowly leveling up...

We can help with that learning part.

Hi, im 28 years old, live in northern California and play modern. I played against Hamfactorial a couple of times on MTGO and was very intrigued by his "Mana Sink Deck Wins" deck. I've been playing it online without any changes and am very impressed by it so far. I'm here to learn and hopefully contribute something useful.

My gimmick at Sally is a competAtive player. He's from Europe tough, so I guess a Ben gimmick wouldn't come from California, unless he doesn't know how to Thor, the thunder god.

G'day, new member here, another from Australia (Qld). I am 28, lawyer, and have a 4 month old baby who thinks he is hilarious when he wakes me up at 3:30am cause he wasnt to play.

I started playing in Onslaught block into mirrodin, playing vs skullclamp back in the day. I started with elves, then went into UW control and Astral Slide. Lightning Rift good card. I entered when UG Madness and a real mono black control deck was tearing up. During mirrodin I stopped playing as i moved away from my mtg group for university, and have only come back to magic in the last few months. I never really played red back in the day, as it was pretty much all goblin piledrivers and goblin warchiefs.

There is a group of about 5 of my RL friends play and we have all suddenly got back into magic. I am a red mage, and the more red I play, the more i realise it suits me. I was drawn to DTR from zeman's post on reddit about the update of
his pyromancer list (and I actually like that list more than the updated list posted on channel fireball). I also dont think red gets the analysis it deserves, which is why i am here - to seek out like minded mtg players to make me a better red mage

Having played previously, I feel the game has changed so dramatically with the introduction of planeswalkers (why no, you cant remove them/stop them from activating that ability) and increase of power level of the cards. I think that agro decks are much more powerful than they used to be, but the control cards are similar to where they were back in the day. I really think agro is the place to be - and red gives you so many different options.

I have no aspirations to go pro or be a top level player - i will play in a local GP and maybe get on a flight for one in the future- but mostly it will be FNM. I play on cockatrice under the name Volition, and am always keen to test.

Hi. I am Longtoe from Northern Michigan. I am an OLD magic player, 31, who is a physician assistant who practices family medicine. I am slowly converting to MODO due to having my 2nd child on the way. I have been a red aggressive mage since around age 12. I did take a 14 year period away from magic returning around end of zendikar block/early scars. I hope to be able to contribute to this site and in all honesty this site has already helped me immensely with different builds of red to help me dominate my lgs and a few local tourneys.

You wouldn't happen to be a Yooper, would you, Longtoe? I love Northern Michigan, the dunes especially. Welcome.
