Reporting for duty. My main MTG interests are Cube drafting & construction, and Vintage. Can't promise I'll post much - I've been a member of that other site for years and have only a handful of posts to my name - but am nonetheless glad to be a part of this community.

Thanks. Whenever I join a new forum I have to decide between using my current avatar and this one:

As for myself - I'm from Australia, which makes me pretty much irrelevant to MTG globally (as if being an exclusive Cube drafter/Vintage player didn't already do that.) I've been playing since Mirage, have dabbled in virtually every format from kitchen-table casual to Standard to EDH to...well, you get the idea. I've also been an admin on the (now-dead) Australian MTG site Good Games Community, where incidentally we adopted an extremely laid-back moderating style.

In real life I'm a health professional (optometrist), first-time dad to a beautiful 6-month old girl,
and play rockabilly slap double bass. Life is pretty busy, but I can still usually find time to squeeze in some Magic here and there.

Did you work at good games at gencon or in Brisbane? Because if you did or still do I definitely bought about 15 shocklands off you once.

Oh, a bit of everything really. Stray Cats. Go Cat Go. The Go Getters. A heap of obscure Australian bands with funny names that nobody's ever heard of (The Creepers, Men Into Space, The Purple Drippers.)

Do you live in brissy? I'm on the sunny coast right now but they should consider changing it to the floody coast for the time being
