I struggle with change...

Postby Aesnath » Fri Mar 29, 2013 1:03 am

As the exodus of my esteemed clan was completed in my absence, I figured that I'd journey to the other side of the river and see what's up around here. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that I'm largely unknown outside of my clan (as I generally posted very infrequently), but I am aware of some of the people here from their MTGS days.

For the record, I am on the "Gutter was screwed" camp of things--I also am pretty sure that N_S and kpaca were set up to a certain extent.

Regardless, I am glad that this option is here for me to speak with my...let's say vocal friends from MTGS--and I look forward to making new ones as well.

Welcome!
It's too bad we don't have a secret subforum where we can coordinate troll attempts where only we can see so that we don't have to catch on because only one of us is an actual rocket scientist.

Sorry if this is difficult for you, but I'm very happy you made it.

And don't worry, from what I can tell with the staff here - what you see is what you get - and they're all pretty chill.

Well, I've spent, like the last two hours tracing the implosion of the FoS/MTGS relationship.

It doesn't seem like, as a clan, we really belonged there. As for the move, I'm willing to follow FoS members as necessary. However, given the move, could we at least consider a name change?

Honestly, I'm not opposed to a site that is a little less...cluttered than MTGS is--especially if we're going to talk decks.

God knows I'm not the most competitive person in the world (or in the clan), but a least I am aware of
when I'm trying to make a competitive deck or not. Speaking of which, I did get around to testing the vengevine deck some--I have notes for later.
Yay! Aesnath made it!

Let's spoon.
Really, don't you think we're past that? I brought condoms.

@Col.N, windstrider, and Khaos--good to see you all!

Welcome! Hope you like it here once you're acclimated
Eric, Ren and Jensen were activists
Heads loaded with theory, their hearts are filled with passion
Shared the same left wing politics
Liked the same music, they were part of the protest movement
Now, Anna presented herself as a feminist
Studied the way they talked and dressed
Fashioned herself an anarchist
Eric fell in love with Anna at the meeting of the crime think conference
He didn't know it but Anna was an FBI informant

Right back at 'cha. It will be nice not to have you getting suspended every two months for fighting with dickwads.

I have certainly experienced less creative (if more direct) welcomes.

Is it OK that I still think of you as Madding? It's easier for me to say in my head.

The term dickwad may be offensive to wads of dick. Until we can be sure no actual wads of dick exist, infraction issued!
