Got my bling in for my Legacy deck today!
no offense but you need to seriously step up your pimping standards
So, what would be better versions of those cards to pimp with then? There's not much to choose from...

Whenever I hear German being spoken, I think of season 4 of Doctor Who where Martha Jones visits Germany and hears a bunch of Daleks shouting "EXTERMINATEN" off screen.

I may be starting a pissing contest with Val, but my buddy gave me a foil Flame Rift today because I lent him a Boros Burn deck to use for FNM.

I picked up some bling stuff for my legacy deck while I was here in Korea.

Korean black bordered, 4th edition Dark Ritual.
Korean Urza's Priest of Gix.

Very nice.

I sent my friend a text with that picture today. He responded with a picture of his own containing four promo JTMS and two foil Venser, Shaper Savants that he had just purchased. I think he won that pissing contest...

Oh, and I picked up a Korean Catastrophe for my new Tajic deck (also Korean, I call him Kim Jong Un because he wants to BLOW IT THE FUCK UP all the time).

It's awesome because my Tajic EDH deck is all about BLOW IT THE FUCK UP and the Tajic card is in Korean. I really need an Armageddon, Jokulhaups or Obilterate in Korean too. That'd be awesome.

So something mindblowing happened at FNM today.

There was a great deal of new players yet again tonight mixed in with a lot of good players getting some practice in for SCLA tomorrow. One of the new players that stood out was this weirdo wearing a fisherman hat. He was paired up with several other new players but by round 4 his opponent called the judge over. Apparently he has been using a modern deck. Not only had his first three opponents not notice this nor the people playing around him, but the player thought he signed up for modern. To top it all off he was 0-3 when the mistake was discovered.

I couldn't tell if this guy was really weird or maybe slightly mentally retarded.

Wow... fucking wow, that's fucking hilarious.

Okay... I went 4-0 with my Boros humans deck at a modern FNM. Most of it was homebrews, a guy's B/g devotion deck that had its Deathrites removed (he thought it was standard today), a monowhite artifacts deck (kinda scary if it floods the field with cheap equipment), a BUG Mimic Vat deck (I thought it was a control deck for most of the match), and Goblins (There's like 12 people who play this around here). Thalia claimed 3 more victims. I fucking love that card.

I'm bummed out that I couldn't make it to SCGLA today. I wanted to do well get a deck tech.

In other news my LGS is now holding free MTG events every day of the week for store credit. 5x the chance each week for free money in different formats. I'm psyched.

Sorta of the same deal Tbuzz. I was there, but didn't get to play in the event. Funny story though. Helped a friend of mine learn how to play burn, but he registered his deck wrong and during round 3, he got a game loss for having 7 boros charms in his deck. Don't know how he wasn't 2-0 going into round 3.

Vidyanto ended up top 8ing playing Z's list beating my buddy in the second to last round in a fake feature match on UW devotion. Before the match started, my friend asked me who was favored. I said UW if the burn player didn't have satyr firedancer. Turn 2 satyr both boarded games. UW won game 2 do to being on the play, but couldn't find the win game 3 as the tempo loss was too much. Still props on Vidi going 9-0 after losing to Matt sperling round 1 to the demon>gary>Gary draw both games.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

Not sure if possible, but if he can mention the list being from CFB thatd be worth a lot to me personally.

Let's hope for two control decks.

Looking at their decklists, even the gr, should be ok. The disciple of nylea plan lines up very poorly against Firedancer, that's kinda moronic.

Vidi vini vici is a very strong player, he will be fine
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.
