No

Just because Zem believes he is a God, it does not necessarily mean he actually IS a God

They believe angels are real and the world is only 6,000 years old.

Resounding yes.
You never hear this around here. I know this is the stereotype but since I've never heard someone say or teach it I have a hard time believing it's too prominent.

You need to meet my mother. And the rest of her family. And my dad's family.

Oh, and I don't even live in the Bible Belt.

You're near the bigger cities of the states. Those people are a lot more reasonable about the science thing.

One more wave coming but I think the worst is over with. Maybe one more foot tonight at most, bringing us to 6.5-7ft depending on where in town you are measuring it. People are starting to dig themselves out and paths are finally being cut on the streets for emergency vehicles.

Go have your fun. While this is most certainly an extreme event, we are prepared to handle large amounts of snow and will probably be back to normal on Monday. I do worry about how close we are to the limits of what we can handle.

Nope.

I've been too busy with new sensations of pain after fracturing my right hand last week. This week is finals at one of the schools where I teach, and grading multiple essays has not been fun.

South park is pretty intelligently written consistently. I appreciate they didn't do the fat wow-nerd stereotype as a representative of the mtg community, but it was a pretty weak episode

Just watched South Park last night. Loved it. The birthday party scene was great. The MTG play was funny as shit.

I don't have cable either. I barely own a television. Grew up without one, never found out what I was missing out on so I never bought one as an adult.
