This Canadian storm is bringing fuck tons of snow here in Southern California, and even within some parts of the city limits. It's even snowing in Mexico in the Northern Baja area.

What the shit Canada, no one here wants your winter. We're comfortable with our balmy shorts weather for this time of year, tkvm.
Funny, it's only -8 here and we got a light dusting but not enough to have to go out and shovel.

Creature - Orc Shaman
Haste
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
Ferocity - 2G/U mana G/U mana : draw a card for each creature with power 4 or greater you control.

Gruul aggro can maybe be a thing? Heir/Fanatic of Xenagos/Rabble/Boon/This/Ashcloud/Stormbreath? There's also the options of the new 4 drop dash cloner and Yasova.

Also Happy New Year everyone. May you all scrump out and X-2 for many events to come!

I was thinking of doing a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) Analysis type article for CFB - does that seem like something that would be interesting and readable?

My goals for 2015 are:
- Top 8 Nationals (after losing consecutive win and ins in 2014 I am pretty keen)
- Attend another PT
- Top 8 a GP
- Embrace limited. I think I only hate limited because I am bad at it, whereas if I direct my energy into learning and make it a strength I will enjoy it.
- Write more content. I have been super slack the last three months (two articles in three months) and that just isn't good enough!

Z - Listening to magic writers talk about themselves is the worst, if that's what you mean. Also, miss you boo <3

Maverick - Ahhhh I built it myself haha, so idk about doing a 'commission' or some such. But it's actually remarkably easy to do! Especially if the nut is already installed and the frets are filed, that's the only hard part. I'd highly encourage having that stuff done for you, and then learning how to solder and doing the rest yourself. Very rewarding experience.

Have a fabulous New Year's, and see ya'll in ~3 months!

We'll see. My initial thought is the 3CMC does seem to be bad, but even if it doesn't somehow fit into Jeskai Tokens, it still screams to be built into something new. I still want to try something out with Ephara in Jeskai tokens so maybe this was the missing piece.

The safe bet is still RW aggro, but I would go with the Grand Master over this though.

You can be worse than Young Pyromancer and still be extremely good. That's a very powerful card. Unlikely to have the impact on YP outside of standard (extremely unlikely) but still a *Very* good card.

Its a pointed singleton format.

The traditional best four decks are: Naya Zoo, Junk Midrange, BUG Control and UR Control. In the two leagues I played I made Top 8 with BUG Control and then with UR Control. Now I want to try something else, since I am entirely playing for fun.

The red dude could be what Temur has been looking for.

The white Peezy isn't as good as red Peezy of course, but I think the tokens having prowess is being overlooked. That's a very big deal.

It also triggers off all noncreature spells, not just instants and sorceries. Could make infinite tokens in Standard.

right now im feeling like heroic ascendency, the deck i've been playing the last 3 weeks, isn't getting in the wins without pulling out the combo. Should I just go to tokens or combo for a standard pptq on saturday?
My thought is everyone in my area is garbage except maybe 3 and I'm not practiced with tokens

Its power relative to broken red two drop aside, between the Mentor and the Grandmaster I most definitely want to consider reviving Boros Burn again.

Well, I was thinking about pre-ordering Monastery Mentor since I pre-ordered Rabblemaster for $1.75 each before M15 came out. But there's a current bid of $81 on a playset of Monastery Mentor on ebay right now. $100 for Buy-it-Now. I hate all this pre-release hype.
