One of the 2 women I've faced in honorable magic:thegathering at least engaged me in friendly banter. The other actually flicked the match slip at me and stormed off.
Things like that happen all the time but I hate that my monkeybrain remembers those 2 times like they were special.

Showering everyday is unhealthy for skin and hair (for whoever said it). once every 2 days is better

Incorrect. Using a lot of washes and soaps, sure. Buy some lotion nigga.

Take cool-ish showers and use oil-based ("castile") soap if your skin is dry.

"Healthy" is a pretty relative term; .e.g. if "healthy" behavior makes you a social pariah it's probably not going to result in healthy consequences for you as an individual.

Couldn't build a version of jeskai that could beat GR variants consistently. Switched to a tweaked version of Hooglands UR list, and it feels great! 3-1 vs abzan control, 5-1 vs GR variants, 2-0 vs UB, and 1-1 vs esper.

Prolly not.

No modern deck.

I have a standard PPTQ at my LGS on either Saturday or Sunday. So far, Me and my buddy are 4/4 on winning largish tournies held at our store with him winning the last three, so I have to win for pride.

Next Gen's also decent enough of a store that there's usually good competition which is nice.

Things I'd like to know:

Preference? Aggro, control, midrange?

Any idea what the local field looks like?

Do you think you're better then your local competition?

Most importantly; power, speed, consistency, pick 2. If you pick consistency, it should be predicated on the idea that you'll be better then your competition fwiw.

I guess it's also worth mentioning that deck speed and power are arbitrary.

1) things that win
2) mostly abzan and red decks
3) i'm better than 85%, the grinders that play a bunch are better than I am
4) power, consistency

Probably look toward either sidisi whip or GB constellation.

I have a friend that plays both decks(loves constellation, dubious on it's metagame positioning) I'll get some lists.

If a lot of the abzan decks are agro, whip looks less good in which case, I'll go back into the think tank. If it's all abzan control, start whipping like you own a plantation.

Alternative, GR is pretty good against all those decks so long as you have a solid board plan for vomitgoblinsontable.dec

I thought GR would fail on the consistency metric, but haven of the spirit dragon is actually just broken as fuck. Like, you have 32 sources of mana, but 3 of them are stormbreath dragons.

I guess I should also add since this question will probably come up: dromoka's command doesn't just wreck constellation outside of combat since if they go fight+sac, you can sac whatever they're trying to fight because reason.
