I still like the rage it causes when you say that girls just don't like Magic that much
This I also agree, like people don't complain that there aren't enough women in boxing or american football, what's the big deal?
People have.
People still do.
So.

There was an entire episode of King of the Hill about women boxing.

And about girls wrestling.

And about girls playing football/boys cheerleading.

Man, King of the Hill is such a good show.

You can't spell "friend zone" without "end zone" I think is the logic.

Annoying or weird is most correct imo

We're pretty good at taking over the entire planet in an extremely short period of time though. Dinosaurs took over the planet once, but that was many many species over millions of years. We're one species and did it in a fraction of that.

That's a pretty funny joke mtg players have going on huh? They pretend to sperg out about which cardboard people use to represent gamestate... fooling people into thinking they have to buy wotc licensed cardboard instead of cheaper chinese cardboard.
Good one guys

jamie, it's not a joke

I dunno what to tell you, but people actual buy cards that WOTC made

They haven't quite GW levels of hatred wherein players actively buy Chinese counterfeits to spite GW

I was building a counterspell based control deck to play with my "nefew" (my brother is hosting a 16 yo Dutch foreign kid named Thor). He's not been paying that long, but he wanted to know why people don't like counter spells. I misread the shit out of spell contortion , completely missing the "unless they pay 2 mana" part. Imagine that shit though. Glad I don't live in that world.

thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

Bloom
Grixis
Junk until more creatures that die to bolt become prevalent, then Jund
Affinity
Twin
UW/Gifts Tron

There is no "all in on fulminator" deck but that's the great thing about modern is that you can play anything if you tune it enough. My big fear with a deck like that is that the non interactive decks would just devour you before you resolve the first fulminator, but that's where tweaking and refining comes in.

What do you guys think the top tier modern decks are right now?
Tier 1:
Amulet Bloom
GR Tron
Jund
Twin (Grixis > Temur > UR)

Tier 1.5:
Grixis Delver
Affinity?

Tier 2:
Burn
Collected Abzan
Also is there a Fulminator / Revilark LD Deck?
Not really, but with both Bloom and Tron as Tier 1 strategies, and 3-color decks rounding out the rest of Tier 1, LD isn't horrible. But it probably shouldn't be the primary angle of attack.

It's still viable but it's no longer "ermagerd too stronk banhammerz pls"

re: Zoo: Kibler keeps forcing it, but it's not quite there. Could probably get some surprise wins, and Collected Company is a really good card, but you probably won't spike a large tournament with it. Maybe smaller ones.
